I didn't have too many options - the max speed I could get in my property was dogshit on standard broadband. Something to do with the line.

I wouldn't be happy with fibre speeds like that, I'm on standard copper, and yes yours is quicker, but not humongously.

Depends what you're using it for. The difference is enormous for anyone using the connection for uploads in a work capacity.

Absolutely, not denying that, but in terms of a home connection generally upload speed isn't that important.
