I wrote a blog post about the Swansea City's chairman and how he's played a part in getting them from the bottom division to the Premier League.

It got me thinking who is the best chairman in the league?
I'm assuming people will just pick the big money clubs e.g. Man City, Chelsea, etc. but who are the best without huge spending power behind them?

My favourite personally was Milan Mandaric. He saved Wednesday from the bottom division and although he didn't really put his hands in his pockets he played a huge role in getting us to where we are now. Club legend in my opinion.

Sorry to stir an old thread up, but just looking back.

Id say Parish at Palace, seems to run the club well and keep them afloat well with finances.

Outside of the obvious sugar daddies I'd say Southampton, Swansea, Palace and West Ham. Great management and internal investment at all clubs that have raised their profiles.

The Glazers have turned United into a financial juggernaut in credit to them. Shame they took close to a billion out of the club.
