Forget promotion from the Championship, masterminding wins over Chelsea and Man Utd with Stanislas and Josh King up front is the real achievement.

Howe is a genius.

Yeah, as fun as the LVG bashing is, Howe and Bournemouth deserve praise. They've had a worse time with injuries than United and Arsenal, yet haven't been defeatist and could have won by a few today.

Their movement off the ball is superb, as is the amount of effort the the midfeld and forwads put in closing down in the oppositions half.

...and hiding all of these...

Don't worry Steve, you're perfectly safe. If they're Manchester United brand blades they'll have no cutting edge.

You never see any leadership from van Gaal during a game, he never stands on the touchline to instruct or motivate the players. If there's no passion from the manager why would the players show any?

LVG has brought us forward the bare minimum. This season was supposed to be moving beyond scraping into fourth. It's unacceptable.

It was actually a reference to you selling them your best prospect. It fit the theme of us plucking Moyes from Everton i.e being small Merseyside clubs that are beneath their neighbours down the East Lancs.

I'm not surprised you failed to keep up after two posts.

Growing up supporting Bournemouth when most people your age are defaulting to the uber-successful Man Utd always made me despise the club, so to see us not only beat, but outplay them was a joy to behold, and something I'll never forget.

To turn this rag-tag second string group that were being pumped by 4 goals a few weeks ago into such a cohesive, attacking and exciting team is testament to just how bloody good Eddie Howe is. Stanislas and King have turned from average Championship players to Premier League regulars in the space of 4 weeks.

I can see why United fans are against LVG - Christ alive they were boring to watch. Hoofball to Fellaini- who as their most effective player they then inexplicably bought off.

Anyway, what a time to be a Cherries fan; 7 points from Everton, Chelsea, Manchester United... Never thought I'd see the day

Am I surprised by this result? The answer is no.

'Bland'chester United have proven once again that throwing money at a sinking ship is not an efficient or honest way to build a football team. You see, despite spending hundreds of millions of pounds they have proven they're no better than a recent Championship promoted side, hinting that United may be fighting for a place in the Championship next season.

Amid the seas of moans from United 'fans' who thought seeing United win 30-0 was a realistic possibility, a resounding laughter can be heard from the rest of the footballing world, as any other club would at least been providing entertaining football had they had this sort of money.

My question to 'Living in a fairy land'chester United 'fans' is this, why have you accepted that throwing blank cheques around is a good thing in football? Have you realised that despite being a club that uses money, rather than passion to resolve situations you still can't beat a newly promoted side?

You mean players like Tevez?

I'm not surprised you don't remember him as a recent United fan.

We decided not to sign Tevez as was our right. He played on the bench most of his last season with us. You can't sell a player you don't own.

You're the stupidest troll I've ever seen. Wrong every time. I do enjoy indulging you.

Yeah. OK. Bet you believe that City paid United £25m for him, too,....

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2009/jun/20/carlos-tevez-manchester-united-city-transfer

"Following contact received from Carlos Tevez's advisers last night, in advance of the deadline the club set for concluding negotiations, Manchester United announces that Carlos will not be signing a new contract with the club," said a statement released by United this morning. "The club agreed to pay the option price of £25.5m and offered Carlos a five-year contract which would have made him one of its highest-paid players.

"Disappointingly, however, his advisers informed the club that, despite the success he has enjoyed during one of the club's most successful periods, he does not wish to continue playing for Manchester United. The club would like to thank Carlos for his services over the last two seasons and wishes him good luck for the future."

You said 'United decided not to sign him'

Which is clearly untrue.
