Fantastic 3 points for us this afternoon. Probably would have lost the game if Chester didn't have a man sent off early in the first half. But I've never seen so much moaning from any set of fans before; literally every decision which was given against them however obvious it was, would be received by cries of "your a joke referee" etc. Again, I was impressed by our new signings and we have scored 7 goals in our previous 2 matches, both of which were against top half opposition.
Rumours are going about that Grimsby have agreed deals to sign Akwasi Asante and Jamey Osborne from us. It would make sense as both have had limited game time in recent weeks.

That's because the ref was shocking, two of your goals shouldn't have stood and Hunt was harshly sent off. He even stopped Astles from standing in front of your keeper before free kicks, something he does every week, there's no law against it. He just didn't have a clue at all.

Absolute garbage set of officials who have cost us at least a point, possibly three.

Danny Rowe's possibly been our best player this season but looked completely off it today and disinterested, maybe someone's come in for him, and he managed to inexplicably miss from 6 yards out midway through the second half...
Luke said on Vitals that he's seen suggestions we are in for him. He was on Danny Cowley's list of non league prospects earlier this year so possible but I'd be a little underwhelmed to be honest. How has he been doing for you?

I've just seen our goal from yesterday and it is 100% not a foul. Macclesfield's number 23 (Whittaker?) clearly shoves Hughes in the back, forcing him into the keeper. That being said, the keeper has been caught out by the wind and the defender on the line had a chance to clear it too, so you can't say the contact with the keeper was the only factor in the goal anyway.

It's a scruffy one but they all count.

He's easily been out best attacking/creative player this season and finished last year in excellent form. As the season has gone on more teams have been aware of him and often double up on him; when he's playing on the right he likes to cut inside and shoot and this prevents him doing that most of the time.

But it was things like when one of your players clearly handballed it so we were given a free kick and it was met with endless moaning. Fair play for travelling in such big numbers though, only Tranmere have brought more.

Yeah, I was going to post something to the same effect. Clear push in the back before contact with the keeper, Hughes did nada wrong. It's an own goal by any measure though!

Depressed as fuck. Another 4 conceded at Torquay.

Bullishness levels at ABSOLUTE ZERO. We're shit fuck off.
DEPRESSED,
Want to try following York away.first away win in 35 games, last one was Newport away September 2015 which I never went to.
Just checked last away win I saw was a 4-1 win at Mansfield march 2015 before Boxing Day.
Don't even want to think how many miles I've done in this run.

Apparently we have put offers in for 2 players that have both been rejected, but we always start low then have to go up a bit so I guess it is for the 2 you have mentioned.
I had heard that we were after Osborne but had not heard about Asante, but Bignot has said that he has already had a meeting with Fenty about new players and Fenty has agreed to let him get all the targets he wants so expect the offers to be raised a good bit.

I think it was that he'd just pissed everyone off so much to be honest. It was clear from early on that he wasn't going to allow us anything from that game.

Fortunately most results elsewhere went our way so not much damage was done, but we did miss a good chance to make up ground on those above.

Barnet reserves 1 up already. Borehamwood now fucked as they will have to try to score.

As an aside, what the fuck is up with Eastleigh's pitch, it's a disgrace.

Just watched our highlights and can't tell if Miller dived for their pen or it was the softest decision you'll ever see.
Either way, he's a talented little scrote and Dover look shagged if he goes.

Got to be pen. Contact and all that
If only Miller had passed instead of shooting with his chance near the end. we would have stolen 3 points.

Said at the time it was soft but was always going to be given. Left back (Mills?) let Miller cut inside and get round him far too often, lucky he didn't have his shooting boots on or it would've been 3 or 4 by half time.

Stones can have no complaints about the ref, your defence had arms all over Miller whenever they got anywhere near him.
