Deserved victory for the Albion. Plenty of tenacity, spirit and beef in that squad. Cloughie knows what he is doing.
Have waited nearly 50 years to play the sheep in a competitive match and the occasion was immense from a Brewers perspective Not sure what is wrong at Derby. Have quality players all over the pitch but not playing a system that suits them.

I remember how well he did for you and I know how highly thought of he still is at Derby. I think it's fair to say we won't get "that" player (happy to be proved wrong but 4 years out and making a comeback at 33 is a big ask) but I'm still thrilled to have him at Burton for what he brings off the pitch. Experience, leadership...all that clichéd bollocks but you know what I mean.

It's pretty clear what is wrong at Derby; they're just a collection of talented individuals who are unable to mould into an effective unit. That's been the case for the last season or two, not just with Pearson in charge. Look at a player like Butterfield, who was brilliant at Huddersfield yet at Derby, he struggles to get a game.

Collective team spirit will more often than not triumph against a team of talented, yet disjointed players (i.e. Iceland vs England). Having that talent will be enough to get Derby in and around the play-offs again, as it has done in recent seasons, but they'll struggle to get that one step further.

Great result for the brewers. I was trying to place where abouts this result comes in in my top 5 brewers events...
No.1 - Doncaster away last season to clinch promotion. Awful game to watch, knowing just 1 goal from Doncaster would destroy our promotion to the championship...but incredible emotion at the end knowing the teams we'd be playing next season.
No.2 - Vauxhall Motors away (2002). Won 4-1 to clinch northern premier league title & promotion to the conference. Only 500 fans made this one in those days! I was one of them.
No.3 - Cambridge United away (2015) Came from 2-1 down with 10 men (goalie sent off) to win 3-2 to clinch the league two title.
No.4 - Morecambe away (2015) won to clinch promotion to league one.
No.5 - Derby county home (2016) won 1-0 in our first competitive match against the Rams.

Beating the sheep would be my number one result. Holding Man Utd to a 0-0 draw at the Pirelli at number 2.
Number 3 the win at Cambridge Utd, 4 would be Doncaster(such a boring game) and 5 Morecambe.
6 Would be beating Aldershot 2-0 in the FA Cup way back in the Warnock era !
