Played really well today? I don't think so. We played well up until they scored and then ran out of ideas. Missed an absolute sitter before the break too.

We are simply not good enough, and it doesn't help when you have a manager who doesn't know his best team or formation. In December ffs,.....still no goal from open play in the first half at home, that is quite simply embarrassing. Remind me what he's done to warrant a new contract?

As for Preston, fully deserved. Didn't like some of their play acting but looked good on the ball and have players that will cause teams problems.

Onwards and upwards, another solid job away from home, I make that 2 defeats in our last 14, those losses coming against 1st & 6th in the league. Makienok has really found his feet now, Ben Pearson is on another level and Robinson & DJ are continuing to do damage in the final third.

Two big home games now, win one of the them and we might put ourselves in the mix.

Somebody has posted a stat on our forum that under Grayson we've only lost once in 110 games when scoring first. Pretty impressive.

Good defender, not great technically but reads the game well, battles and is decent in the air.

I'd like to keep him ideally but he's replaceable in my opinion, Tom Clarke is better and this Andy Boyle is meant to be good.
