As it says the market this morning you can get Adam and Zabaleta for 4 million.

Yes it is a comparison to what City are getting stung for but in a piss taking way, perhaps before unsheathing your keyboard you should have a think about what is being said or do you require a emjoi or a lol?

I am surprised Mark Ashton isn't keen to throw money around - he was when with us...

Sadly most of is was wasted which is maybe why he isn't so willing to splash the case?
What's Ekstrand like?

"He was heavily involved in establishing the talent identification and recruitment system which was the foundation of player recruitment in spring / early summer 2014"

Fair play, he joined Oxford that summer so I assumed he hadn't played much of a part with us, fair enough if he did. He was still here from 2012 though, no surprise the club only mentioned him being here for that that 2014 summer window, given the horrific seasons before it!

Think I'd still like City to take a punt on Bradshaw if it would be £1m, Kodjia and Wilbs only recognised championship strikers and Wilbs is trailing off. Probably wouldn't be huge wages, question is are we at the point where we can spend a million and hope that it comes off, although if it didn't we can probably make at least half back by selling to league 1 again, definitely would like us to go for one of him or Winnall.

We've signed Belgian keeper Matz Sels from Gent for a rumoured £5mil. Probably means Krul is on his way to a PL club. Dwight Gayle is on Tyneside today to finalise his move from Palace and Matt Ritchie is still on the cards according to the meeja.

It's being widely reported that Canos is stalling on signing for us as Norwich MAY be interested. If that's true then City should withdraw the offer and go elsewhere. I am thoroughly sick of the same thing happening again and again.
Yet another one to add to the list by the sounds of it. :(

I hope Mark Ashton and Lee Johnson don't give up as easy as you. It's been suggested from Norwich end that they aren't going to bid for him.

It's the fact we are supposedly second choice AGAIN that saddens me. IF he doesn't want to be here then we shouldn't procede. LJ and MA have said they only want players that want to come. Does the fact he wants to wait to see IF Norwich bid suggest to you that that is the case?

I don't blame Canos for waiting to hear out Norwich. A bigger club on parachute payments with an already fantastic squad at this level, you can't blame him.

He came through Barcelona's academy, I very much doubt his dream was to ever play for Norwich or Bristol City.

It's the problem with aiming for quality targets, there's always likely to be bigger fish than us after the player. By the sounds of it we're still the only team to have made a bid and with pre seasons having started you'd think he wouldn't want to wait too long.

I don't blame him either but it doesn't fit with what MA / LJ have been saying, that's all.
It also concerns me that we may be making the same mistakes as last year as mentioned above.

He's wearing one of the heart rate monitor vests in some of the pictures, hard to imagine why a coach needs one of them.

Why wouldn't a coach monitor there fitness? Or its an academy trialist

Whose the fat coach always has burgers in his pockets and pops out occasionally during home games?

Don't doubt a coach would generally monitor their fitness, however other staff members aren't wearing them. Other staff members also have their initials on their gear. Could well be a trialist and if so hopefully something to look forward to.
