Our 5th meeting with city this season
So far 3 defeats and a draw, hoping we can put on another decent display and come away with something, we've beaten a few of the top teams in recent weeks but expect a much tougher test against a side who will be champions come the end of the season, at least we will not have to face Smith again
1-1

After looking a bit tired and rugged, we've soldiered on and look as strong as ever right now.

Five wins on the bounce and I think it'll become six.

3-1 to us.

A 'local' game for me, still going to take over 4 hours to get there (engineering works). We are in decent form as well, so 1-1 would be OK.

I fully expect a much tougher game this time as the Gills have obviously picked up in recent weeks.

But no signs of the team or the manager taking their foot off the gas, so think this will be another 3 points on the way to the title.

2-1 City

I cant see past another city win. Not underestimating Gillingham, but we arent showing any signs of slowing down.. In fact, quite the opposite! 2-0 to us.

On another note, It seems a little strange that after saturday, we wont meet Gills again until the league cup first round in August. 5 months is a long time, how about a pre season friendly? :D

2-0 City for me, the only time we've drawn is when we had a 2 goal cushion to start with. Korey Smith to score to keep up the Smith streak.

I keep predicting draws but we keep winning. Therefore draw.

Must win if the Swindon and Preston games are going to be promotion parties.

Can't see us bettering a draw, but I think a narrow defeat is more likely. So glad we won't be playing you next season (I hope), but I wish you all the best in the Championship.

We don't let in many goals these days, apart from freak goals like Barnsley last week, so I'll go for a 0-0 or 1-1 and be happy with that, but would be really happy if we could win 3-0 as in last away game against the Swine.

Given up on the playoffs then?

We never really had a chance of the play-offs - we're close in terms of points sure, but there are far too many teams between us and 6th to overhaul them all IMO. Next season should be interesting if we can keep this squad together.

Fair enough mate but as long as you're in touching distance you have a chance of sneaking in. A couple of wins could put anyone right in contention

Since we beat Gills 3-1 at Xmas they have got their act together and will be tough to beat.

1-1 or 2-1 City.

When gillingham say 1 draw to be honest we were already through and we didn't try very hard and surely you can disagree

I agree Jack.
I always thought that you had another gear if needed.
From our point of view though, it wasn't so much the result but more the fact that we played so much better than in our previous meetings.
Indeed, our form over the last dozen games has been been pretty much unrecognisable from pre-new year.
I think we will lose but you never know.
You never know.

Personally think the other games is irrelevant on this game. Both teams are in good form, so it will be tough for both teams. Still think we'll win though

I know City fans are wet but why you'd want to drink them I don't know.

Tobacco factory. On North street.
Went in there last year and it ain't too bad.
Just don't drop a few pints of Milk Stout on top of copious amounts of Cider.
A recipe for fucking disaster!

The tobacco factory is good, so is the hen and chicken. Both on north street.

Also the robins which is a home pub but its a friendly pub, I've seen plenty of away fans in there before.

I think Gillingham have improved massively over the last few months. They have had some great results beating teams at the top of the league. Also, we haven't got Matt Smith anymore who scored goals for fun against Gills.
Taking all of that into account, my prediction:

4-0 CITY :)

The Robins had a policy of no large groups of males or away colours

In true Johnson style , this is the battle of 22 points v 21 points from the last ten games. Sounds tough. Who should we be looking out for? Macdonald, Rack and Egan?
