Can't make this as I'm going on my travels for a skiing trip tomorrow... Shame that.

But I'm going with another 3-1 home win.

JET x2 and M. Smith.

1 chance, 1 goal.

United have pressed hard with and without the ball but havent created anything.

Strange sub bringing on Agard for Elliott, far too attacking at the time.

Things went against us today it seems.. JET shot cleared off the line at 1-0, Foul in the build up to their equaliser and changing shape to push for the win worked against us. Not taking any credit away from Sheff Utd but just a bad day at the office all round. Thankfully, we've still got a nice cushion. A win tuesday and things will look very good.

Well done Sheffield Utd winning at the league leaders is no mean feat.

Seems like we got lucky with results today, like Blademan says no real damage done and one less game to go, hopefully we can pick things up come Tuesday.

Bit of a weird one that. Sheff Utd were a good team and it was a pretty even game, but I never really felt our goal was under pressure for any extended period and yet we conceded 3 goals!

Don't think it was a bad performance, just they were clinical whereas we paid the price for missing several chances at 1-1

'clinical' is such a refreshing thing to read about us. Early in the season we'd absolutely dominate games, miss sitters and end up drawing. November-January we didn't create much and still didn't take the chances hence our awful form. Think it was 2/3 wins in that period. Hopefully now we've brought Done in we've finally found that clinical striker we've been crying out for since Evans got sent down.

he'll go and get injured on Tuesday night now :S

These things happen, fair play to Sheffield United for punishing us and it will hopefully give our players a wake up call, always was going to be a tough game as United raise their game when they are underdogs.
We are fortunate we still have a 4 point lead and could be 7 pts clear by Tuesday evening. :)

Well that was a kick in the teeth. Forgotten what defeat feels like! Not meant in an arrogant way, just feel like complete shit.

That's true, well played Blades. You came with a game plan and executed it perfectly.

You have to say well done to Sheff Utd. Threw bodies in the way especially 2nd half.

First half it should have been 0-0 but we scored with our only decent chance.

Second half, we created much more but they also looked dangerous. Was their first goal offside?

I would have brought on Pack for Elliott as we still looked dangerous and JET was unlucky not to score at 1-1.

No need to panic - just heads down again and work hard. A win on Tuesday would put us in a great position with 16 games to go.

Dont think you need to be concerned about us mate you should win this league easily
I don't think any team is going to win it easy, I would say that first is there for any of the top 3-4 to take, still a long way left and incredibly close, good luck to the blades though- biggest club in this division and should be in the championship

Knew it would be tough. The Gills fan saying they were shite will probably say the same about MK Dons now they've beat them...

Sheff Utd were the better team in the first half and dominated possession, our first goal was lucky via a deflected cross. Second half I actually thought we played better, created some chances but have ended up conceding 3 without reply! Not too bothered about the defeat, especially with Swindon and MK losing as well. I expect to get back to winning ways on Tuesday, although Posh won't be as easy as the 3-0 earlier in the season, having picked up a bit recently

I personally think you will win it by over 10 points we just need to cement that playoff place then theres not really any pressure on us then we can take it from there you never know what might happen

Cotterill was right to say we played better in the second half. But I still dont understand the substitution, not one we have made before.

Sheff Utd did well tactically and scored their only chances so good luck to them. Wouldnt like to face them in the play offs.

More of the same TBH, no problem with the result and well played Blades.
We weren't at our best today and the Blades played well. I can only imagine Clough earmarked Little as a threat as some of the tackles on him were, to say the least, robust and the signing of Done seems like good business.
If the Blades play like that from now until the end of the season, not many sides will beat them.
All in all, we got away with a poor performance due to the others failing too and the only real winners are Preston.
We need to react on Tuesday now.
