A shame to lose but no ground gained so not the end of the world. We never got going untill the second half but poor defending cost us, although the first maybe looked offside? Little frustrates the hell out of me. He has the power and pace, but technically he is so poor. He left his man for their second goal too. Won't be suprised to see Tavernier in for Tuesday.

Win that and no harm done!

Top marks to Little for his dive today! He loves to run it out of play!

I can see our lack of willingness to change the team causing us to grind down and down as fatigue sets in.
Our right wing back has been the only change in the last three games (i.e. 2 games with the same 11 and 1 with same 10 + 1).
Before that across the two televised cup games, we only changed 3 players in essence.

Now we play twice a week until Wembley in 5 weeks. A little bit of variety might just be the thing (although is the quality there?)

Great to see Matt Done continuing his rise, class player. Never saw him going on to play as a striker though.

As suspected the equaliser was offside and the third was after a tackle that is usually a foul these days.

Look forward to the next shit ref to give us something back.

I thought the first was offside, and I'm down the other end in the Williams. The ref was shocking for both teams yesterday. Didn't really have a clue what was going on!

A big win for the Blades, we can only hope that finally this is the statement of intent we've been craving all season to go on a winning run. If we can go to Bristol City and win well, and with no further games against the teams presently in the top 4, then there is no reason we can't go on a similar run to last year and see where it takes us. For now, my main concern is making the play offs, and I do think that we are too far away to challenge for the top two given you'd still expect them to pick up points at around 2 per game. From the doom and despair of last Saturday evening, now talk is of automatic promotion. We'll have more of an idea of how pie in the sky that thought is after the next four games (Notts A, Cov H, Rochdale A, Crawley H).

The signings we've made in January have made a big difference. In Done in particular, we now have a busy forward with pace. An example of where he adds something new was for the first goal, laying the ball off to the right and tearing off up front for the eventual return via a good save from Holt's shot.

Not seen the 'offside' goal yet but people on OTIB saying it was offside. Annoying...but then we could have lost last week with the Ayling hand ball.

It is annoying when a decision goes against you but 99% of the time it always evens its self out over the season we all just seem to quickly forget the ones that go in our favour

Bristol City fans blaming a defeat on the ref? Shocker.
A few....most see a side come with a game plan and perfectly execute it. No doubt you'll be enamoured by every ref Preston have for the rest of the season!

I hear your unhinged manager let off a bit of steam on the radio afterwards.

Yawn. Everyone here has said Sheff Utd deserved to win. Doesn't change the fact their equaliser was offside.

Sheff Utd have pretty much no chance of automatic. As good as they were yesterday they are far too inconsistent.

It was cringy listening to Cotterill but the reporter embarrassed himself suggesting United played with three at the back.
