Thought we played pretty well after Bruce went back to 4 at the back but why the hell did he he start with a back 3/5 in the first place? Think a draw was a fair result, both teams didn't do enough to win IMO. A draw away at Bristol live on Sky on a Friday night? I'll take that.

Our away record is worse than crap though and we very rarely win when we are in front of the Sky camera's. I predicted a draw before the game and I would have taken it.

I feel like Bruce is struggling a tad, he has always been fairly pragmatic and organised, and I have a feeling at Villa he has lost that as is trying to either force players into that system (3 at the back) or he cant cope with being at such a big club with an expectant fanbase.

He does seem to be close crumbling slightly. It's not an easy club to manage and the fans are very demanding. He's not managed a club like us before but I still believe if given time and the fans ease off he might get the job done.

To be fair, he's tried 3 at the back for 30 minutes and then changed it, though it seems it was his plan all along, hopefully being dominated by Brizzle City yesterday has woke him up to the fact that it won't work. The squad is best suited to a 4-2-3-1/4-4-2/4-5-1, I can't see a 5-4-1 ever working for us. I do stand to be corrected, but I hope last night was the end of that experiment.
