If we were shit not sure what that makes Leeds, seeing as we dominated possession, territory and chances. they scored from a dive and against ten men.

We need to grow up a little and not be so open to the counter attack but a draw was the least we deserved.
Anything but a dive. Hamer brought him down whilst he was going away from goal, for some ridiculously unknown reason.

We dominated Saturday, the same problems still occur. We come out like a house on fire and apply early pressure, eventually run out of steam and then get caught on the break due to lack of pace in midfield. The same will continue throughout the season if we play these players in a 3-5-2. I said in L1 that if we go up, 3-5-2 won't work, and I stand by that.

Aye, it was fine.

I'll be up at Middlesbrough on Saturday, then at Burnley, and then and Brum for all our next three games, spending a hell of a lot of money. Whatever comments you make about my support, I'm there every week, whether we're coasting L1, or getting battered in the Championship.
If you are there every week then why not stay until the end? As I said, you never know what will happen and much stranger things have happened than tonight like Mansfield away.

BTW - think we will be fine playing 3-5-2 with a couple of good additions in defence and midfield.

I've left 3 games early in my entire life, two in the last two days. I think that can be just about forgiven.

You feel shit for tonight and you know it.

Fair weather fan.

Should know better than to leave in a game involving Leeds United. Fucking up dramatically since 1919.

I've already said that. It's not like I leave every week, as I said above.

3-5-2 can work, but not with the players we have, like I said. We need pace in midfield, and possibly a new left sided centre half, if not certainly defensive cover.

I'm not bothered at all, the problems are there for all to see, two late goals are just paper over the cracks.

Aye, I've been out with 7 or 8 Leeds fans all day that have came down, and they said you should expect anything.

Didn't expect that though, especially given our WOEFUL record vs you.

Even experiencing it time after time, it still hurts. Turned off the commentary when you won the corner as I couldn't deal with hearing the inevitable goal. Still very painful to see it pop up on Flashscores even though I knew what was probably coming!

Just funny how things are all relative. Had we equalised late on in a couple of games and have drawn all 3, people would have some faith. As it is, it feels like badly missed opportunities and we're not overly optimistic now. Football for you - I'd say City fans are more positive than us about the future this season and you've only got a point so far!

I wouldn't say that mate, certainly from my POV.

You'll be okay, you look well drilled, solid if unspectacular. Missing Mowatt and Cook tonight who are your two 'flair' players as well, so there may be more to come that I haven't seen.

It must hurt, and you've completely thrown away a chance to get your first 3 points on the board, but you'll be a solid outfit away from home from what I seen tonight.

In the main we just let ourselves down with 2 situations, the penalty (Hamer to blame) and the 2nd goal, Wilbs down injured and the ref waved play on, our fault in part for then not putting the ball out when we had the ball about 20 seconds later. I was kinda surprised the ref didn't blow after the cross and ball back outside the box when we had it, so can't blame him for not then when Leeds are going up the pitch. We should have let Wilbs recieve attention and continue with 11 (well 10 while off).

The only thing I'd say was wrong about it was that after the restart it took a good 30 seconds plus for the ref to waive Wilbs on while waiting on the side.

I think that's what's more disappointing if anything, really. The fact we have been well organised, the plan to nick an away win and be tight at the back was nearly played out to perfection. I know a draw to Burnley and two away draws to anyone isn't an awful start to the season but we have to be more professional.

I think I just fear that away from home we're going to be under the cosh a lot with our style which means that getting into winning positions might not happen all that often - so we have to take them while we can. By the time Saturday comes around people will have positivity again with our front two linking up tonight and getting amongst the goals etc, but even at the start of the season, losing winning positions could be really damaging. We're a club which thrives on momentum and a feel good factor...we could have been playing to go top on Saturday but instead we're still waiting for a win and in a Yorkshire derby as well.

It's the hope that kills you...

FWIW I think you'll be fine this season. Making me laugh how people are going on about our league position not being important after three games but talking about drawing at 'bottom of the table' Bristol City for fuck sake!

Fredericks has to take blame for the first goal as well as Hamer. He has a simple ball on and started piss-assing about with it, and ended up losing it which resulted us being left 4 on 1 at the back.

Disappointing interview. I hope he's just protecting his players but I don't like managers just reeling off excuses, randomly saying how well we've played, proud of the lads (classic Warnock line there) etc. By all means don't slag the team off but I find it a bit embarrassing when managers just praise people regardless of the situation, or divert matters onto other things. Yes our schedule has been tough but it's not important tonight.

Some Evans-esque stuff about being Leeds and how there's people out there that don't like us, and then something about sueing the football league over the fixture scheduling... all a bit bizarre :bl:

We were okay tonight, not great but we're slowly getting there. Last few games we have been a bit naive and at times, not very wise with our play! Most of these players haven't played at this level, I think we're taking time to adjust to this division. It's very different to League one!

Eh? Blame Sky not the football league surely? Their cup game being on the Thursday meant they had their Weekend game on Sunday and as a result had this pushed back to today. Plenty of other teams have been made to sack up playing Sunday Tuesday instead.

Aye, just talking about our fixtures but that's partly down to Sky. Nope not ideal playing Thursday, down in Berkshire on Sunday, Bristol on Wednesday and a lunchtime kick off on Saturday but still - hardly a distance away from everyone else. Don't think he meant us suing anyone...just said he didn't think it'd be long before clubs started thinking about suing the FL...

He's a bit of a weird character, I thought he was fairly laid back until he took over here. Not against him or anything but some of his methods with dealing with the media are interesting to say the least.

Brilliant scenes when we equalised, you could sense the panic from Leeds as soon as the first went in. Still thought we were poor and didn't think we deserved anything out of the game.

Perfect away performance from Leeds for 89 minutes, stats mean nothing we barely threatened and they were pretty comfortable. Saying that we were the better team until they scored which seemed to knock our confidence a lot.

Kodjia fantastic again, beginning to irritate me that he gets no more than 65 minutes every game. Ok Agard scored when he came on but in all honesty he's half the player of Kodjia, from what I've seen so far.

Robinson was ok but a lightweight and backs out of every challenge/aeriel duel, Bobby was a lot brighter when he came on. Fredericks has looked absolutely shite so far, hope to see Wes start ahead of him on Saturday if Little isn't ready. Hamer shite as well, what on earth was he doing sticking his arm out for the penalty, regardless of whether it was a dive or not that was poor goalkeeping (again), although Fredericks must take most of the responsibility for that goal.

Overall obviously delighted with how we equalised but worried, we'll be down there come the end. Can't see a result at Boro.

Oh and glad Gray's rejected us, he won't solve our defensive and midfield problems.

Just in case you didn't know, looking at that you could do with somebody who can find the back of the net whilst there is a keeper blocking it.

Why, exactly?

I pay good money to go and watch it, I'm inclined to leave whenever I like.

We came to a decision to go and get a curry. I hadn't ate since 11, I had been out in Town all day, I don't see what the problem is.

We were shit, absolutely shit.

Were we fuck. Yes we wernt as good as we can be but to label us absolutely shit is laughable. I can only assume you were a little pissed off with yourself for leaving early ( because you were hungry?.... ....). You expect us to just turn over teams at home?

Anyway great spirit to come back. We didn't deserve to be 2 0 down. Leeds rarely threatened. We need to learn to take our chances when they come though, and cut out silly mistakes. Another one for Hamer although first thoughts were he dived.

As I said weren't at our best but still a decent performance.

We are not far away, keep fighting like that and we will be fine.

I was more annoyed at how easy our performance was to predict.

If you think I'm arsed that I missed a tap in infront of a half full AG you've got it all wrong.

How about coming from 2-0 down in the last couple of miniutes to get our first point on the board? And you missed it?
You're not assed?
Isn't that why we do what we do? Following our club up and down the country for moments like that?

Each to their own I guess.
