If you beat us I'm sure you will be making the shirts to say you beat us. Definitely doesn't happen often does it?
Beat you and we'll be making Promotion shirts, and Swindon and L1 will be a very distant memory...

City v Swindon combined 11, lets have it:

Foderingham

Stephens*
Flint*
Turnbull*

Byrne*
Luongo
Kasim
Freeman
Bryan

Williams
Wilbraham

* I accept City fans will argue Ayling/Williams should come in and some STFC would have N.Thompson in there. I reckon the rest picks itself.

*Mark Little has proven to be out of his depth in the Championship therefore he is out although I accept there will be an argument.

JET would be first pick off the bench.

Disclaimer: Yes, I realise you are top of the league.

Ayling instead of Stephens or Turnbull, Korey Smith instead of Kasim. Rest I can agree with, I hope we sign Byrne in the summer.

As an aside, Flint is probably the best player I have seen against us this season (Freeman was pretty quiet, Luongo was alright and I have not seen Garner play). We really struggled against him as he completely commanded the defence at Stadium:MK. Antony Kay has been alright for us but Flint alongside McFadzean would be a hell of a defensive partnership I reckon.

That explains it then

Smith for Kasim and Ayling for Stephens and yes I agree.

Byrne and Little could long be argued about, both fantastic players.

I'd disagree with Stephens and kasim, ahead of Ayling and smith.. But otherwise that's spot on.

We were in for McFadzean a few years ago when he was at Crawley, it would lack pace them two, but they are two of the most solid, commanding Centre Halves in the league.

As for the best player - Freeman, JET and Flint, possibly Korey Smith as well would all be in contention.

Garner is a c***, he leads with his elbow and is a dirty bastard, but he's an exceptional player, and he's the sort of player you'd prefer to play for you than against you.

Players deserve a mention, such as Luongo etc, but it's beery hard to compare a range of players when they all play in different positions.

Yeah I remember reading about that when he signed for us, had a big price tag on his head at the time. It would lack pace that is true but then again, we have Kay and McFadzean usually and there is no pace there at all and we have a decent enough defence so it could work (hypothetically) depending on the opposition and the formation. Cannot disagree with the last bit though.

Oh fuck.

Might take a leave of absence for a couple of months and then come back when we've won the league.

That's where our back 3 is so successful this season - the balance to it is perfect, as you have a big bloke who is fantastic header of the ball, and Williams and Ayling either side who are traditionally full backs/wing backs who are able to carry the ball out, and have a fair bit of pace about them.

So Aiden doesn't like the cockiness of city fans, yet proceeds to spend all the early hours of the morning bragging about Swindon being bigger than wallsall :dk:

Those two were taking the piss, surely?

One is bragging cause Walsall won some Trinidad 'pre season' cup, and the other is chuffed with Swindon winning League 2 :ffs:

Would be madness on here if Swindon win, doubt they will though.
Yeah we're mates aha. We've started singing about winning the Trinidad all stars cup on away days now as well aha

Yeah I thought that when we played each other, though in fairness, both defences were awesome that game hence the score.

Colchester United fan: "The MK Dons back 4 looks more like a group of bouncers than professional footballers". What utter rubbish eh...

Would have to ask Alfreton fans opinions on that!
