Wow what a game. Thought Walsall were good value to be level at the break and the boy Hiwula looked class - loan for next season?

2nd half though we took them apart though some of their lads gave up after the 5th...

Agree - thought Hiwula looked very lively.

Not sure if I'd want him in the Championship - but I've certainly not seen enough of him to comment.

Weren't we linked with him in the Summer?

Think it was an OTIB rumour, wasn't there today but was at the other league game, Bradshaw definitely would interest me.

If he can sort out his injury troubles - certainly.

Another quiet game for him against us today - Flint has had lock on him at Wembley, and today.

Surprised Sawyers didn't start today as well - tidy player.

I'll chuck a wildcard one in if we're talking about potential signings. If PNE don't win the play offs, how about Garner in BS3? We brought in a lot of the best players in L1 last summer, why not go for the L1 player of the year?

Because bigger championship teams will have bigger cheque books than us, no harm in trying if Preston fail to go up but would be very surprised.... however I said the same about Freeman.

While we're chucking names out there Joe Mason, we need a couple of strikers at least, I imagie we will get a marquee signing and a squad player, Mason could easily be a good roatating squad player for us and wouldn't have to uproot being just the other side of the bridge.

Going by JET's tweet, he's off. No surprise really. :(

Strangely enough, that's exactly what my Dad said earlier.

I'd love Garner here - but couldn't see it.

Definitely 2 strikers needed then. Wilbraham, Agard +1 isn't enough to compete at championship level, Burns back out on loan.

Unless it was JET's decision I don't know why we'd not offer him a new deal. We'd have to spend far more to get a better, or even equal, replacement. On top of the striker we already need.

Fingers crossed he means over the summer break, but I highly doubt that.

Unless Cotts thinks JET's wages can be better used, would imagine he's one of the highest earners we have, we need more depth so his wages could maybe mean 2 squad players?

Depends who's coming in doesn't it?
I doubt we will be able to sign anyone I enjoyed watching as much as him. Just such a genius - think only Murray got me out of my seat more in the 25 years I have been watching.

Time to wait and see, I doubted we'd sign Freeman this summer despite how much I wanted us to.

Dissapointing if true, but thought we needed a new front too with or without him so nothing changes. Today summed him up, constantly gave the ball for 50 miniutes then to come up with an assist and a cracking goal. What you pay your money to see, but so frustrating at times.

Constantly gave the ball away?! He was class for most of the game - even first half setting up chances! Can only remember him losing it a few times and only once in a dangerous area.

Constantly May have been a tad harsh but he gave it away more than most. No one was class in the first half. For 2-2 it wasn't a half with much quality. Both forwards struggled. The second half came out of nowhere. I didn't expect it anyway.
