Would be happy for us to just raid league 1 in January for the best players, would definitely take Bradshaw and stick him up top with Kodjia. Few others around as well I'd be happy with.

532 JJH must be doing his head in
And that's exactly fucking why. Invited pressure for the entire of the second half and get what we deserved.

I'm not even going to attempt to comment on the game until I've had a kebab and watched the rugby - that will inevitably fuel the fire when we lose that and all.

All I'll say is I don't think the formation was the wrong thing today, it put us in a winning position until all of 90 seconds to go (despite the onslaught) it was the tactics employed (sitting back and being happy to take the pressure, the opposite of the first half where we looked good) and the substitutions, Wilbraham should have been off on the hour mark and Little should have been taken off. When we play our game and style with 532 we are very good at it, when we try playing differently with it we are awful. I don't think people would be as upset if we were attacking looking to add a second and conceding therefore drawing, it was the manner we played the 2nd half.

But why didn't we do it in the summer? There's been no explanation behind our botched summer window. I just find it difficult to put into words how infuriating the missed opportunity of that transfer window is. Instead of being a club on the up, we're in a despairing and deserved relegation battle.

What were we doing?

Awful game.

MK Dons shit, City shit, donkey Powell giving us what we deserved.

Little and Bryan unfit and out of form. Excruciating watching Wilbraham and Freeman play at the moment. Absolutely lost in this league.

Both teams have seriously gone backwards, this was an upper midtable League One game with one Championship quality performer, Kodjia.

I swear it was an actual tactic in the 2nd half for Fielding to spank it as far as possible for an MK throw. Aint bloody Rugby.

I was thinking this, given we were sitting back inviting pressure, I think he was attempting to clear the fence meaning a replacement ball which the 4th official always take their sweet time in giving to the player attempting to waste more time.

Utter garbage!
Trying to sit on a 1 goal lead?
Absolute shite from both sides and a draw was fair as both sides were equally terrible.
Piss poor support from MK too but what a piss poor game.
Humbug!

The formation wasn't the reason for a bad performance today, and IMO it never is. The reason we only drew is because we couldn't keep the damn ball. We just played route one in the second half which was silly because Wilbz had a crap game and you can't play long ball to Kodija because he isn't a big man. By the time Agard had came on it made no difference as all we were doing was hoofing it up field to them. It was dreadful.

Freeman had a mare today, but the problem today was having no squad depth. Bryan, Freeman and Wilbz all had mares today and we had nobody to really replace Bryan, nobody to play as a playmaker like Freeman can, and no big man to replace Wilbz. Our transfer policy clearly isn't good enough, as we seemed willing to spend 9 mil on Andre Gray, but didn't seem to be able to spend anything on squad depth players. I know that the club wants young players and all, but you need a couple of experienced heads (another thing we lack) who are Championship quality to help the younger ones. I must say, we can have no excuses if we go down this season. We have one of the richest men in the country in charge, surely that means we actually have money. MK Dons have probably recruited better than us and they have a League 2 transfer budget.

Talking about MK Dons, fair play to them, (despite the fact they robbed Wimbledon of a football club) they outplayed us in the second-half, but I must say that at this rate it looks like we may be seeing each other again in League One. MK Dons need to finish their chances to stay up really, they could've had 3 or 4, but then again we could've had 3 aswell.

And by the way why is everyone singling out Pack as a bad performer today? I thought he was MOTM.

Pack was solid ish, in the top 4 for me today, Kodjia, Flint, Reid and Pack were our best players. I probably would have gone Reid for man of the match.

Reid had a terrible second-half, he played awful past the 50th minute.

Because he's not a defensive midfielder, and our gameplan in the second half was to sit back and soak up the pressure, and it catastrophically failed.

It's like masochism going to watch us at the moment, I just leave feeling depressed.

It's beyond belief what happened today, the second half was an absolute shambles. We absolutely murdered them in the first half because we were playing attacking and creative football, and we could have been 2 or 3 up. They didn't know how to cope with us in the first half, they barely had a sniff of goal.

Then - we come out in the second half, and we sit back on the lead... Why?! What is the thinking behind that?! Is it just me that noticed the goals conceded column, and am I wrong to put two and two together and suggest that defending is definitely not our strong point? No? Then why try and fucking sit back on it?!

MK were absolutely there for the taking today, we could have killed them off and it could have been 3 or 4, but Cotterill got it horribly wrong today in the second half, and the mentality was so, so wrong. I wasn't even annoyed when they scored - you could see it coming from a mile off, and the goal was a laughing stock in itself - Baker needlessly conceding possession and that c*** who scored dancing past everyone whilst they just stuck out their limp legs in a half-hearted attempt to stop him.

Fucking joke. I'm sick of this.

Aye, what the fuck was wrong with him today? He's missed a hell of a lot of crucial chances as well, notably at Preston and today, costing us points.

Meanwhile JET scores two in his first league start for QPR.

I am not enjoying this.

Freeman misplaced most of his passes today, and also missed a major chance.

Been saying this about Freeman all along...

Cant create, cant score, that dribbler last week doesnt count, and clueless on the counter.

Reid on the other hand has assisted 3 goals and deserves a place instead of lighweight Luke,

Was he not top of the assists chart in L1 last season?

Yeah how many from open play? Probably less than 5.

I could ping it to Flints head from the corner flag.

Had a very brief encounter with an MK Dons supporter and we both agreed both teams will be playing League One football next season. A very depressing game.

Looks overweight, held onto the ball for far too long, his excellent set piece delivery has suddenly disappeared and his decision making has been poor.

Everything about last year was great, everything this year is a nightmare.

Even the kits were perfect last year.

Realistically, how long does Cotterill have left as well?

I like the bloke, but I'm not sure how long you can give it. The last time
in the Championship, we cocked around and took far too long to get rid of McInnes, I think Lansdown will be wary of not making the same mistake.

Cotterill will be given the January transfer window to see who he can bring in I reckon. You can guess they'll already be working on a list of more realistic targets.

SC isn't the problem. This summer has shown the problem runs much deeper.

There's no point in sacking him because it's the squad that's the problem. Although his persistence with Wilbs is irritating (just as his lack of using JET was) - but no manager doesn't have their own negative points.
