Out of interest, are Dagenham & Redbridge considered a proper club or not?

If they are, then surely clubs like Crawley, Fleetwood, Accrington and Stevenage must have become proper too, and will remain proper even if they drop out of the league again?

We will always be Tinpot but not as Tinpot as Crawley (money), Fleetwood (Money) and Accy (just tinpot).

Is it just me or do some teams never seem to get on? Can't remember Gateshead being shown for a long time for a start.

Thought the games were meant to be fairly distributed so everyone gets on?

BT probably haven't got a lens big enough to make out the pitch from the stands at Gateshead

So according to your theory you're only being shown by BT because you happen to be playing proper clubs?

Gotta show every club once might as well get them out of the way early to show some bigger games at the end of the season.
No idea where this myth has come from - think I'm correct in saying both Gateshead and Aldershot have never been on

Maybe not at home but they probably were away. But I think there was an agreement that all teams have to be shown once to stop BT just showing the Tranmere's and Grimsby's all the time.

Well done Columbo.

That's me told then.

There's just one more thing.... If your theory were true why are Dover v Us, Eastleigh v Barrow and Solihull v Southport on?

Bit silly really. Who's gonna watch Solihull v Southport?

Doesn't really benefit the club or fans being on telly either

You'd be incorrect then. We were on twice the season before last, v Eastleigh and FGR. Not had a home game yet though.

Each club definitely doesn't have to be on once per season. Pretty sure Lincoln weren't on for at least 2 seasons.

What, when we was absolute dogshite? The local pub team would have beaten us by more that night. Was that on the telly? Good Lord never knew. At the game you see. Should I include the highlights of us at yours the previous season where Williams humiliated you and ended your promotion surge?

So was I.

The BT Sport trucks outside, the BT sport cameras pitch side plus Clem, Kevin Davies and Darrell Clarke standing on the pitch being filmed before the game and interviewing our players on the pitch afterwards gave it away slightly.

Wrong again baldie. That result made no difference whatsoever, we would have finished 5th regardless. See I can edit my posts too.

I was working at the game too and as always, Clem and his cronies came wandering to the groundos shed looking for a decent brew. Best place to find one at a football ground, don't you know. Given I was there til gone midnight helping the BT crew clear down I think I too may have noticed the game was televised. I was joking, you should try it some time.

BTW, Ady Pennock is a very nice man, a top lad infact, and also knows where a decent brew is to be located.

Lincoln were on against us at Prenton Park last season. The only TV game we won if I remember rightly. We are on TV so much before Christmas I am begining to know how Liverpool fans feel *shudder*. I must admit being on 4 times in the first 3 months of the season is a little too much but at least I get to see a couple of long distances away games.

When did BT start broadcasting games in this division? Because we've had at least three games in the last 2 seasons. We had a home game against Eastleigh for 2014/15 and away games at Guiseley and Tranmere last season on BT. Can't remember any before that.

It's a pain in the bum. It's not even like you get rewarded for it - I bet we lose more in gate receipts for the wrexham game than we'll get paid - if 300 Wrexham fans decide to stay at home instead of watch live, that's the payment gone. And the kick off gets moved to 12:15.

Don't worry, they'll get plenty of air time this season.

See Harrier94's post.

Thanks for asking.

We were home to Fleetwood and away at Braintree in our first season down here then, yeah, nothing for 2 or 3 years.

I've read somewhere that in theory they are supposed to show every team at least once each season - no matter how unappealing. So this kills two birds with one stone.

We definitely weren't on last season, and I think we had only two games shown in the five years we were in this league last time.

Never been shown at home in league mate and all the comments about running track are wrong, Bt have broadcast gateshead at home in fa cup and play offs no problem

Not sure that's true. Gateshead were never shown once home or away last season. Never known a channel as biased as bt

Weren't you on a few times in the two seasons before that though? Maybe BT try to get teams shown a similar number of times over a number of years.
