Hopefully we may look a little better in front of the nation tv wise under the Cowleys. Tough game at Torquay that's for sure, our last away league win last season?

What sort of £££ do you get for being on TV in this league?

I don't like that BT have got the evening kick-off slot in the PL, means we all get shafted with early away trips when they stick a game on the box.

Putting it back to 5.30pm will be decent for the fans. Means they won't have to leave as early and no-one will be going there and back in a day!

Sutton v Tranmere near 500 mile round trip for Tranmere supporters to get there for a 12:15 kick off, well done on some great planning BT Sport.

Already have Dagenham v Wrexham and ourselves v York, might as well add another long, early morning trip.

Won't be going to the Sutton game now. Don't think the selection of the televised games has been very kind to the travelling fan so far, only the Welsh derby and our game with Guiseley don't present significant travel issues, although as pointed out above, many do an overnighter for trips to Torquay.

Apparently BT Sport are considering moving our away game at Sutton on 20th August to 12:15 so they can show it on TV. This may not be resolved until once the season has started which makes it difficult for us away supporters, including myself, who were considering going.

Bloody media darlings we are. Feel sorry for both Tranmere and Macc fans, as well as a deal of empathy as an exiled Sutton fan.

Thanks for your sympathy! I'm sure you'll understand me not wanting this game to be televised just to make the travelling slightly easier. BT should make their minds up quickly for the sake of the supporters.

Looking at BT Sport's announced live football, they are currently showing St Johnstone vs Celtic at 11:30 on 20th August, so I assume the Sutton game is a backup incase Celtic end up in a Europa League qualifier and therefore the game would move to the Sunday, therefore leaving BT with no Saturday lunchtime kick off.

To avoid any doubt re the following fixture:
@suttonunited v @thesilkmen on Saturday 20th August will kick off at 3pm. @Vanarama National.

I guess that's down to Celtic winning the other night. Good news for us away supporters heading down south, although I still come away from this thinking that BT have messed both teams around here.

Is it just me or do some teams never seem to get on? Can't remember Gateshead being shown for a long time for a start.

Thought the games were meant to be fairly distributed so everyone gets on?

Only proper teams get on.

I can only presume the Solihull vs. Southport game on a Tuesday night is being used for an attempt at "Lowest viewing figures ever recorded on British TV" Guinness world record?

Woking have never had a home game on BT Sport despite having finished in the top half for the past four seasons. I presume it's because of strict instructions by the National League to isolate all of the 'unpopular part-timers' in the division.

Out of interest, are Dagenham & Redbridge considered a proper club or not?

If they are, then surely clubs like Crawley, Fleetwood, Accrington and Stevenage must have become proper too, and will remain proper even if they drop out of the league again?
