Just wondering - is it right that every team will be featured over the season? We're yet to make an appearance (with good reason).

Nope, that was Setanta I think?

Either way, we had a year or two of not being on IIRC.

Fair enough. A few on our forum get a bit pissy about us always being missed out, but I'm not too bothered. It's always blowing a gale when the cameras are at Holker Street and the stadium looks even worse on telly.

Do the clubs make any money by having their games shown, or is it split across the league?

Somewhere around £5k for the home team and £1k for the away.

They didnt televise the Relegation Play-off between Alfreton and Welling last season on the peniltimate weekend so Id be surprised if they televised a relegation game this year
Didn't the year Hereford have their problems they keep going between the Hereford and Chester matches on the final day as they were both battling for survival? I remember watching it as we had a dead rubber away match and BT did that quite well.

Your quite right mate, they did. I remember watching it myself. They may do something similar again but I doubt it.

With no disrespect to Alfreton - BT pick games that are going to draw in the punters. If the relegation battle is between two teams they think they can get decent figures on they'll show it and if not they won't.

All of that assuming that the title is decided by the final day.

Your absolutely right. There is more interest in a relegation battle between Halifax and Chester than between Alfreton/Welling. This makes me doubt they will concentrate on the relegation battle this year. Teams like Welling, B.Wood and Guiseley wouldn't bring in the punters either.

Can't see Rovers v Imps as a good choice. By the time of the game, it could be a meaningless mid-table clash.

Better hadnt be looking at our next 8 games, there are a lot of winables there:

Torquay, southport , aldershot, chelt, chester, gateshead, guiseley, forest green

I see that the day after we play at Cheltenham on the Friday night now, Wrexham are at FGR. It'll all obviously depend what the table looks like at the time but I wouldn't be surprised if there'll be a few Mariners at TNL cheering on our Welsh cousins.

I'm planning on staying down there for the weekend so might be tempted if it's still going to have a say at the top of the table.

Well if we win the league on this day I'll be catching a ferry from Dover to France and be celebrating the night away in Paris!
Re-enacting the impromptu celebrations that the French public staged after France won the World Cup in 1998?

Remember to bring your passports then.

Don't know about you but if we win the league at Dover I'll be far too smashed to get on a ferry. I'd probably fall overboard.

Yeah think they did - I'll never forget the celebrations at full time at the Rec, both sides were celebrating staying up on goal difference. Was a unique atmosphere that day, just sad what happened to Hereford after

Gateshead have never made an appearance yet on bt so they clearly aint got the policy where every team is shown at home at least once
