HA look at this soft comment from Derry's post match interview:

"We've played a play off finalist and a play off semi finalist and lost by one goal."

Now here's Keith Curle's comment:

"We had to stand up and be men today. We needed to be there for the confrontation."

So I can see why Cambridge fans want rid of that loser Derry so much.

I'd hate it if we had a manager like that!

Yeah I've been on Cambridge's forum and they're all furious at that comment

It's a typical Derry comment, bigging up the opposition. He's better at doing it before games to be honest.

It's just a pathetic excuse to hide his failure as a manager.

You won't find me arguing with you!

Regardless of the echelons Derry thinks you occupy, we should have got at least a draw on Saturday but we were beyond pathetic and we made a reasonable Carlisle side look like world beaters. And alot of that was down to Derry playing 4-4-2 with no wingers and our best central player (and top scoring midfielder in the whole country last season) as a left winger.

Derry really does remind me of Greg Abbott.

Abbott used to talk as if we should be privileged just to be on the same pitch as teams. We nearly always started the season slow under him and from what I read Derry's tactics and team selection decisions are very reminiscent of some Abbott masterstrokes.

Actually didn't Greg and Derry work together for a while?

Yes Abbott belittled our club quite often when we struggled against the top teams of L1 and he was assistant to Derry at Notts County.

Thank fuck we have someone like Curle compared to those clowns.
