Just saw the goals. I don't give a fuck if Maradona has won a World Cup and Messi hasn't. Messi is the greatest player to ever play the game. Seriously what does Messi need to do to prove he's the greatest to ever play the game!? He's even reached the final of the World Cup for fucks sake is that not enough? Yeah the best World Cup players wasn't really deserved but it doesn't matter. He's won several things at Barcelona, broken so many records in every competition he's played in. It has nothing to do with the players around him as he's played a massive contribution. I have no doubt that Barcelona could have won things without Messi but definitely not as much as they did.

As for the comparison between Ronaldo and Messi, Ronaldo has played better than Messi on some occasions which is why he won Ballon D'or a few times, but in their primes, there is seriously no comparison. Messi wins in every way.

And as for Guardiola, I reckon he's gone after Bayern go out in the second leg. 2 Semi-finals with Bayern Munich isn't good enough.

I think it's the manner of the defeats that's going to get him out of the job. They have conceded 8 goals in 3 semi final games!

And that number is certain to rise as I can see Barcelona winning at the Alianz and if not, they'll score at least.

Still think Bayern will give it a good go but they'll be playing into Barca that way also and can see them scoring again also.

Don't think Bayern should sack Guardiola, he's delivered domestically the last 2 seasons and he would eventually lead Bayern to a European final and victory for me.

He has a team who has recently won the World Cup + 2 other World Class players. Any decent manager can piss the bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

He's been smashed by Barcelona and Madrid in the semi-finals, and unless he can miraculously turn this defeat around in the second leg, I think he should be sacked.

And the managerial merry go round just goes on and on....

Think he proved at Barcelona what he can do, should be given at least his contract to keep building.

Ridiculous skill, those are Bayern Munich players he's doing that to, he's making them look like a pub side!
He doesn't get greedy either thinking he's on roll, trying to take on more players, just passes it when he can. And the pass to Rakitic he barely even moves his leg and it's straight to him.

Every move he makes has a purpose. Unlike Ronaldo who is usually found on the halfway line doing pointless stepovers with nobody near him. Messi is just like a Playstation player, you get the feeling he could just run through everyone from the kickoff and score if he really wanted to.

Just had an Indian Manoo fan on TalkShite seriously suggest Ronaldo is better because he's done what he does at two clubs. Where do they get them?

They should bring out a new award for the best player in the world that's not called Lionel or Cristiano

Am I right in thinking that Guardiola's got one more year to run on his contract? If so, I think he'll be given at least til then to try and get things right.

I expect tonight is a foregone conclusion after the first leg, but you can never write a team like Bayern Munich off. An early goal will really give them half a chance, if Barcelona score at any point tonight it's game over, and you'd be a brave man to bet against it with their front 3.

No one likes Real or Barca mate, Bayern aren't much better themselves to be honest but they've got Schweinsteiger so they can't be all that bad!

Really? Well I actually don't like any of them, but against Bayern every opponent is in favor.

I used to be a Barca supporter while Rivaldo, Kluivert and Henry played there - good old times

I have a man-crush on Schweinsteiger so I'm a little biased towards Bayern in this instance.

Neymar ties the game. Don't think Bayern would be able to overturn that deficit.
