But for Joe Hart and some poor finishing, this really would have finished 10-0. Terrible penalty from Aguero.

Yeah was thinking over the course of the whole two legs it would have been around 11 - 2 to Barca had it not been for poor Barca finishing and Hart.

Fair play, great point well made.

Joe Hart has his yearly blinder, then soon fades away after.

Bony's arrival has obviously caused Dzeko to resort to drastic measures, creating an equine alter-ego to cope with the pain.

God not one post on the CL draw. You can tell the Brits don't care about Europe when no one is in anymore.

This draw is fucking shit. Ok Monaco/Juve should be an alright watch but Bayern/Porto will be boring, Barca/PSG we've already had in the group stages and Ateltico/Real was last year's final. This just stinks of UEFA wanting to benefit Juve, Bayern and Spain for good measure.
For what it's worth, I reckon we'll give Barca a good game. It'll probably end with them winning by the odd goal but they won't destroy us. Hopefully Blanc would have learned his mistakes from last December when we didn't attack enough at the Nou Camp.
Anyway, bring it Barca. I look to wip your sorry arses.

PSG, Atletico, Juventus, and Bayern to go through.

I was hoping for Atletico - Bayern and Barca - Real, but still should be good entertainment.

2 cracking ties to look forward to as a neutral.

When was the last time Juve reached the semis?

02/03 en route the Milan final at Old Trafford I think.

What is the other cracking tie? Barca/PSG is starting to get old...

Ah fair enough - Madrid derby should be good but then I guess they play each other every season!

It's a bit strange the big three avoided each other yet again before the semi's. It's almost like they were seeded that way....

Although the matches between Barca and PSG are always entertaining, they met each other a lot in these past few seasons that it became boring. Same goes for Atletico and Madrid.
I would love if Monaco could beat Juve but unfortunately I can't see that happening and I can't see Porto troubling Bayern as well.
I'll say the semis are going to be between Barca, Bayern, Juve, and Atletico. Is there another draw for semi-finals as well or not?

Juve and Bayern are certainties. Barca should just about scrape by PSG once again, and then you have to expect that Atletico will put Real out, they have their number.

Weidenfeller and Schmelzer are certainly the culprits.

A significantly more entertaining half than what was on offer in Manchester, I'm sure. If it ends 2-1, I still fancy BVB with a good chance to progress. Serie A frauds aren't on the same level as the elite teams in Europe.

Was that a European elite that Juve wiped the floor with? Even a relegated and bankrupt Serie A side gave them a better game this season.

Psg v Barca .. Predictable!
Juventus v Monaco will be a good tie though.

So Wednesday we play at home to Barca with a lot of injuries/suspensions! David Luiz and Thiago Motta got injured against the vermin, Verratti and Ibra are suspended while Lucas has played his first game in months last night against Bastia.

Reckon we'll line up: Sirigu - Van der Wiel, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell - Rabiot, Cabaye, Matuidi - Lucas/Lavezzi, Cavani, Pastore.

Can't really make my mind up between Lucas and Lavezzi. Would love us to play with 2 natural wingers but we won't change our system and Pastore is out player of the season. Another great game last night.

Bit bricking it with 4 games to go!

What are tomorrow's games?

Juve are big game performers so I can expect them to win here, and put a fight in the semi-finals.
