I don't care that it's been in vogue for a decade now. I fucking hate left footed players on the right wing and vice versa. Watching Bale first half was so bloody frustrating.
Hopefully tomorrow's game is a significant improvement.
Unfortunately I did watch this; it was so dull I ended up watching the snow fall outside my window for 20 minutes and harked on the old days sledging, then the full time whistle beeped.
Really tedious match it was. Playing at Santiago Bernabéu makes Real grows so,therefore, important advantage for second leg. But still cheering for City.
Atlético Madrid has an efficient collective way of playing. Despite being mostly deffensive - most cautious position for a semi-finals first leg - they're very organizated and get positive results with that (not only about the score but Bayern got a lot more offensive at second half but Atlético stopped them very wisely and with no much trouble). And beautiful goal was that of Saúl.
How can anyone enjoy watching this from Atletico? Defending is excellent as always but it's the falling over, the fouls they commit and the waving of imaginary cards that both the players and that c*** stood in his technical area get upto.
My only hope is if they win half of the bastards get booked and miss the final.
