They lost to Rostov. I'd fancy us!

I wouldn't expect less from a Leicester City fan (right?). For me the worst opponent in the coming draw are of course the spanish sides, Real (if they can beat Dortmund in the last game for #1) and Barca because Bayern lost only to spanish clubs in the last 3 years (the "Pep" Effect) :D (but maybe with the Italian Ancelotti now as coach they lose to Italian clubs in the knockout rounds from now on)
OK, Bayern lost at Rostov Maybe they underestimated them after winning 5-0 in the first leg and 1-0 in front and already qualified. I don't give a shit. The Knockout rounds are 3 months away, plenty of time for Bayern to fix things.

They probably wouldn't have though, Sevilla were all over them and then Clattenburg dishes out a red and later a penalty that didn't look it at first. Referee mistakes are part of the game but Clattenburg was just shocking last night
C'mon dude, the penalty was clean. Very similar to the one against us in Juve-Lione.

I'm not too exercised about finishing 2nd this year. Playing like we are at the moment we'd go out to most of the 2nd-placed sides anyway, and if we won the group we'd inevitably get Bayern. I just hope it isn't Barcelona AGAIN. Juventus or Benfica would be a nice change.

I'd like to see Arsenal against Juventus as well to see how you'd cope (or otherwise ).

Good to see 3 out of the 4 English clubs progressing into the last 16, poor from Spurs to be the one to fail though considering their group is pretty bang average. Not surprised Leicester have made it through their group was certainly the weakest in the tournament, taking top spot should ensure them a reasonable last 16 tie also. Thought City were pretty poor last night but they've got the job done as did Arsenal. Looks like there could well be some big teams missing out on top spot in their group, Real Madrid and Bayern especially.

We are the only side in the Champions League to currently have more points in this competition than in our domestic league!

Our group was relatively easy but Spurs not getting out of their group is a joke. The weakest side from pot 1 (including us, moreso given we bought their top scorer in the summer), the lowest ranked side from pot 2 and a side that came 3rd in Ligue 1. They couldn't have got an easier group as a pot 3 side. And people moaned we'd fuck up the coefficient.

PSG are losing at home to Ludogorets for some reason. Maybe they know 1st place in this group will get drawn against Bayern.

Great.

Lucas Perez has, in 47 minutes, scored as many goals as Spurs have in the Champions League this season.

Lucas with the hattrick. There isn't an elite option among the bunch, but I like the diversity of styles in our wingers: Lucas, Walcott, Welbeck, Ox, and Iwobi.

Gibbs been good as well, Monreal has been a bit off the pace this season. It's a good night for Arsenal.

How have PSG managed to cock that up? If we get either Real Madrid or Munich I will however cry.

Although I think it might be more likely that we draw Porto and they smash us 3-0 in the first leg.

Poor Besiktas. Only needed to draw (I think) against already out Dynamo Kyiv, but lost 6-0 after a dodgy red card. And their goalkeeper cried.

Well that is a pleasant surprise. I think we stand a chance against any team at the moment but obviously would rather avoid Bayern/Real/Dortmund/Juve, although all of those fixtures do intrigue me.

Except Bayern. Fuck Bayern. But seriously I wonder if we'd fair better against them this year, they don't seem as strong as before but Ancelotti is a cup whizz. I think we're stronger than we have been for a while so long as we keep Özil, Sanchez, Koscielny and (now Santi is injured) Xhaka fit.

Tbh I'm not massively bothered over who we get as long as it isn't Bayern. I don't think we're capable of winning the CL so all I want is some entertainment, and playing Bayern AGAIN would be so fucking boring. I'd love Real (can't believe that was TEN YEARS AGO) so hopefully Dortmund (again, snore) can hold them off tonight. I would fancy us against either of the Portuguese teams or the ones in Spurs' group but you really do never know with us. Thought we had a good chance against Milan a few years ago and they battered us 4-0 and ended the tie before we even got started.

Exactly my thoughts (only vice versa). Hopefully the German teams (Bayern, Leverkusen) can avoid Arsenal. Not because they are unbeatable but because I've seen too much of them in the previous years. Dortmund will (hopefully) win the group today and can "avoid" Arsenal.

Theres a chance Porto won't make it ahead of Copenhagen. We arent playing Vardy, Mahrez, Slimani or Huth, so it's a very small chance, but still I'm sure everyone would want the Danes.

Scotland's sole remaining representative in the competition (referee Craig Thomson) is receiving all sorts of abuse for his poor performance in the game between Beşiktaş and Dynamo Kyiv.

Marco ties it up at the Bernabeu in the 88th, keeping BVB top.
