Izquierdo scores. Great strike. First goal conceded in the CL for us.

Why he plays for Brugge I don't know.

Wouldn't even mind him here.

Typical Spurs - get back into the game but then throw it away again!

Leicester making it look easier but just been pegged back.

Sampaoli sent off. Can't blame him though, Clattenburg has been shocking

6-3 Dortmund. Fucking moneys worth!

Both us and Brugge have put the ball in the net for them to be disallowed. Shame on Vardys cos it was a quality finish.

Brugge have started to actually play now. And they look dangerous.

I don't understand Pochettinos approach to the Champions league this season at all. I know injuries have hit them at the wrong times, but he still doesn't field their strongest 11.

7-4 Dortmund.

Are both teams playing 1 at the back?

I'm not even sure what formation and how many of them he's been playing tonight. It looked like a 433 in the first half with Alli on the left but Son did bugger all defensive work which explained Mendy being so dangerous down the left (he's been immense tonight). Then Wanyama has started playing between Dier and Wimmer so then you think oh 352 then. Then he plays higher up. Whatever next? Is it 262?

But yeah Spurs have been awful.

Marco Reus hattrick in his first game back. If I could erase injuries from one player's history, I'd choose Reus. Imagine Germany the past two tournaments with him and Gundogan fit.

Lovely. Made hard work of that in the end after playing what looked like a training session for 65 minutes.
We finish group winners, with a gimme against Porto who we could probably knock out the competition.

Buffon had a little whisper in Clatts ear. Wonder what he said. "Psst, you're a c***."

Hope Spurs can get the point they need at Wembley to make it back to the competition they belong to.

Glad Spurs are out too. Though not for the same reasons as you pair!

Well that was all a bit bonkers wasn't it. Every time I flicked over to another game there was another goal. Got my £3 increase from BT tonight thats for sure.

Marco Reus hattrick in his first game back. If I could erase injuries from one player's history, I'd choose Reus. Imagine Germany the past two tournaments with him and Gundogan fit.

Germany wouldn't have reached more with both, Reus and Gündogan, in the team for the World Cup 2014 in Brazil. ;)
I am a big fan of Marco Reus' style. For me he is one of the most skilled striker in Europe. But tbf his form in the German National-team isn't the same like for Borussia. In his so far only 29 caps (due to several injuries) he made more average matches than good ones. One of the "mysteries" of German Football so far why he doesn't perform in the Nationalteam like he does so often for Borussia.
But you're right, it would be interesting to see him in a tournament, hopefully he stays now fit and can make his first tournament in 2018.

btw: the 8-4 of Borussia vs Legia is a new Champions League Goalscoring record. 12 Goals weren't scored before in a CL match (the previous record was a 8-3)
Marco Reus is the first Borussia player ever to make 5 Scorerpoints in a CL match (3 Goals , 2 Assists). Not bad after 200 days out due to injury.
Borussia scored 14 Goals against Legia in the 2 matches.
OK, the defence was ridiculous today even from Borussia but they had a complete new defence for this match, Bürki was out and Rhode isn't a suitable defender. Tuchel tried here something and this failed. Better against Legia than against Real.
Unfortunately Real scored a late goal at Sporting and could win otherwise Dortmund would already been qualified as #1 in this Group. So we have a "Final" in Madrid. Dortmund needs at least a draw, Real has to win for #1.

Mate, England wonder that with every player. Only Welbeck turns up for England.

We'd die for a Reus slightly underperforming for us.

Ungrateful Germans tisk

What does "tisk" mean?
And why "ungrateful"? I wrote that I am a fan of Marco's style but that he underperformed so far in the National-team. That's a fact. Doesn't mean I don't want him in the team, on the contrary. The longer he stays injury free (for me he's one of the most fragile players in the Bundesliga) the better he'll be and then he'll show his true potential in the German team.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
A draw for City will see them all but through tomorrow and would be nice to have a dead rubber in the last match to be able to focus on Chelsea and Leicester before and after.

Why would it be a dead rubber when there's still top spot to play for?

Don't mess with Juve! This is the effect that we produce on our opponents. :cool1:

:D

I saw it in the Sky Sports Germany Simulcast Conference. So I can't judge about the whole 90min. but the reporter said that it was a Class A game in the first half and in the second still a good one. And Sevilla could have won this, too.
Sami Khedira played more "upfront" not in his usual role, is this right? btw: He mentioned that the Juve fans call him "Professor"? I had to laugh about it.
Juve is still the only Italian team that I like (because of Gigi Buffon and Sami) so I am glad that we'll see them (maybe) next year in Germany again ;)

Khedira played as a wide midfielder, his typical position, but in a different scheme because the incredible amount of injuries has forced Allegri to switch from 3-5-2 to 4-3-3.
The professor? It sounds new to me :bg1:. I've never heard anyone calling him in that way, but hey, it could be appropriated for a player like Sami. I'm glad he seems to be in a good physical condition on this season.

You wouldn't have won if Sevilla had a full compliment.

They probably wouldn't have though, Sevilla were all over them and then Clattenburg dishes out a red and later a penalty that didn't look it at first. Referee mistakes are part of the game but Clattenburg was just shocking last night
