It's true. Real have been handsomely outplayed three matches in a row while getting incredibly lucky, we've swept aside everything before us. This Real side isn't especially good and play yesterday's tie again, Bayern will win nine times out of ten. And keep in mind we're talking a half-fit Bayern, as they miss most of their key players.

Real have done nothing this season to suggest they're a better team than us, and with a starting eleven with the average age of 30+, yesteryear counts for less than it usually would. They've performed similarily to us in the league and worse in the CL.

But yeah they're good at winning and we're shit at it. We're still slight favorites, should we get there.

If we even stand a remote chance of winning, we have a chance of winning comfortably, such is our system. Plus, this Real side is tailored for us more so than City. If they win it'll be tight, if we win it'll be after blowing them away completely in the first half with Marcelo being on the other side of the pitch for all goals. So in the case of a win, it's about how much they'll claw back in the second half when we tire, like City at Anfield in the league.

But to be fair Salty probably didn't mean this but rather "we'll win ten times out of ten" or something daft so I don't even think you disagree with this.

Well this struck me late into the post. I should know better than to defend his opinions to be fair.

We've been the best team in the CL this season, that's not to say the best team always wins the thing - or any cup competition for that matter (Italy 2006, Portugal 2016, Greece 2004) - but all I'm saying is we have nothing to fear out of this Real Madrid if we are on it and manage the game well. Sure they have great players, and if they play Isco that is something to be feared; Ronaldo on tap-in's and Ramos at corners. Other than that though, Modric and Kroos look totally out of form so we could get at their midfield; Marcelo never defends and isn't good at it when he does; and Ramos can be got at. With our movement, pace and technical ability, we more than have a good shot at getting a few goals out of them. If they outscore us (in this potential final yet it has to be said), then good luck to the fuckers.

They will look for every trick in the book though and there needs to be a strong referee, something which doesn't seem to happen much these days when they are involved, so any potential finalist needs to be aware of that too.
