Leeds Away Info: 1487 Initially allocated – up to 2700 available Adults: £37 :ffs: 60+/Disabled: £25 16-22: £25 11-15: £18 U11: £9

I usually refuse to pay this much especially when its on sky but I think I might make this one.

If your last 3 visits are anything to go by then the initial allocation is more than enough maybe more of your fans have grown a pair by now though.

77% increase  class. Home attendances up by 8000 too.
Sold 2000 for QPR this Saturday, only 500 left so good chance that will sell out. Then Rotherham on Tuesday will probably sell out too.
City in the cup week after, then Barnsley away after that, expensive times!

Agree, impressive stats and great times to be a Huddersfield fan. Really pleased for your fans.

Hate to tell you this mate, as this is great stuff as always, but our away % to home support has to be wrong. 2.3kish against 25kish has to be less than 10%. Sorry mate, as I say it is great work, the odd mistake has to be expected, really appreciate what you do, must be time consuming. (Unless you can get away with doing it at work). :)

It's right according to my maths as you've only played 13 home games so after your home game next Tuesday it will be down to 9% odd as you will of had 37k go away and 400k at home. The way you're doing it can't be correct until all fixtures are complete, I'm pretty sure that's right and Walkley will confirm.

You're correct Bladesman, by Tuesday it will dip as we've played 15 at home as opposed to 13, I expect around 46k at our next two which gives around 10%.

Please remember it is NET home fans not total home attendance :)

Yep, I made the same mistake with ours and Leeds away support. We have took more away but we have played a game more.

I'll look back in this thread at the end of the season when our away figure is respectable.

I think we'll sell full allocation this time given importance of game and stage of season we're at.
Tickets are only on sale to season ticket holders with loads of priority points at moment.

We have 300 of the initial allocation remaining, expecting the final allocation to arrive tomorrow.

I've refused to pay £37 in previous seasons on account of price not my balls,:bg: I've been to Elland Road loads of times in 80s and 90s, even sat in home end once because we had sold out. (East Stand Upper)

Ps I'm going this time. :bg1:

Mid season figures are all well and good, but you need to take into account where teams have played so far, which matches have been midweek and which have been on tv. Reduced allocations matter too.

At the risk of being called precious, we've had a 2k less allocation at Huddersfield this season (same for all I know), Cardiff, QPR and Ipswich on Tuesday nights, Leeds on a Friday night on tv (last couple of seasons we'd took nearer 3k), and Wolves on tv early kick off.

Let's see where we all are at the end of the season. By then, we'll have had Villa, Forest, Birmingham, Sheff Wed and Rotherham amongst others included in our figures. They should take us well over 2k.

i think we will all have our fair share of midweek away games. The big clubs will be on tv more and near the end of the season the clubs fighting for the play offs will also be on tv a bit more. If you include Newcastle away in two weeks we've been on tv 10 times away from home which is great for someone like me who can't make most of them anymore.

Of course it is only a guide. We have had some shocking fixtures away from home, mid week or on Sky.

Some of our mid week away games have been Cardiff (Sunday), Barnsley, Burton, Wolves (NYE), Reading (Sky) and Newcastle (Sky). Some proper missions on that for mid week

We have closer/easier games coming up with more 3pm ko's, like Birmingham, Leeds will get a good following I would have thought, Derby and Brentford.

Of course, this is the same for everyone but our support is shit at the best of times!

We've had Cardiff and Bristol City midweek, Wigan and Brighton Friday nights on Sky, Newcastle on Boxing Day night and late KOs at Norwich and Brum, swings and roundabouts for everyone

We've unsurprisingly only taken the 2200 allocation for Newcastle away a week on Monday. We have knocked £10 off the tickets, so instead of paying £27 fans will be paying £17 which is very good. Sold 1500 so far which is half decent all things considered. Can't see us selling out the 2200 though.

If you've already sold 1500 and the game is still another 10 days away surely you will easily sell another 700 by then, especially at £17 a pop?

doubt it. I think it hits general sale this weekend so I can't see many getting sold by people that hardly go away from home. If we win our next two games it might come close but that's a big if.

That is a cracking gesture subsidising the tickets too, £5 less than our fans had to pay at Stevenage to watch a big pile of steaming dog shit for 90 mins.

tickets were reasonable anyway at £27 but obviously with it being a midweek game on sky and the distance they have rightfully made them cheaper. I think majority of the ones going would of still gone at £27. The ones going are the diehard away supporters mixed with the odd fan who likes a bargain when he see's one.
