Foolishly decided to go to this one.

Same team as we put out against Birmingham in the same system - meaning we won't score.

1-0 Charlton.

I would stay away from Clifton suspension bridge if I were you...................

Seriously though, yes we needed to sign a finisher yesterday and didn't, but to be honest I would be more concerned if we weren't making the chances that we are at the moment. If we can carry on keeping it tight at the back, one or 2 chances have to start going in at the other end.

The proverbial "must win" this one, and I think we will.....comfortably.

2-0 City

(Amazing what a good night's sleep will do!)

Christ knows how this will pan out.

Much better performance last Saturday so hopefully same again but who knows with us.

Through fear of being told off by Lamby I'll go 3-1 Charlton.

1-0 Charlton.

If youre going by that logic, wouldn't that mean that we won't concede either? ;)

1 goal conceded in 3 games against a premier league team, the league leaders and a playoff chasing side in red hot form. People are so furious about not signing a striker that they've totally forgotten about our massive defensive improvements in recent weeks.

This will be a tight game that will either be goalless or settled by a single goal either way imho.

We don't score goals. We're not going to stay up drawing 0-0 next week and losing in a scrappy 1-0 the next.

We won't win another game until we get a striker in.

Wanna bet on it?
We're expected to bring someone in when the loan window opens mate, so the chances are it could only be one or two games.

I'd be willing to bet you score from open play tonight.

That we'll actually sign a striker...........

The way this year has panned out I can't say that I'm confident we will.

I don't think we will either, hence why I'm categorically stating on here that we will go down.

winnings go to the forum?

Also, do you mean ANY goal?
I won't be tight Tom, we're not playing tonight fella :D

I'll think about it for Saturday though!

How did we score against WBA and Boro then? ;)

As someone on OTIB rightly pointed out, its not our lack of strikers (we have one of the best in the league) it is the complete inability of the midfield to score that is the problem.

JET masked it last season, hopefully Tomlin will this.

PS if JET keeps MK up at our expense then 4th May 2015 must go down as one of the stupidest, inept, shambolic day in our existence.

This certainly hasn't been the case under Pemberton.

2/3 were set pieces :)

So lets hope for a set piece or two on Saturday then!!!!!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to check the result until next Thursday. I'm going on a tour of North Korea and there's no internet there. :D

Will be an experience, don't they weirdly accept Euros there?

I'd definitely go there at some point if the opportunity arose.
