Tonight's game at Sunderland will be interesting in terms of travelling fans. I would lol if it's less than 10! I'd imagine hardly any Sunderland fans there either being as tho they are disgruntled with their first team.

12 is someone's estimate on Twitter.

We're just taking the piss, giving Alan Smith a go upfront for the first time in about a decade.

Making fairly light work of Fleetwood U21

If the trophy has no other worth then it's looking like giving us a new cub record of eight successive wins.

New record low attendance of 597 at Blundell Park, take off Blades fans and around 400 home fans, excellent effort.

You get more for FA Trophy matches and that other non-league cup?

Yeah we used to average around 1200 in the FA Trophy, we weren't in any other non league cups though.

Well, I may not like the new format, and I may not have gone to the games, but I'm happy that we've won the group with 9 points. We've set a new club record today of eight consecutive wins, and young Cameron Salkeld has scored his first senior goal.

It was a strange and depressing sensation being outside the stadium on match-day seeing the floodlights on and not going in. I hope to god I never have to repeat it, especially as I love nothing more than an evening midweek home game, especially in winter, and this is the last one until April.

Decent win, 3 wins in 3 games. Several fringe players getting a run out and also 2 youth players, one scoring his first professional goal, happy with that really. Can't say I'm bothered who we face in the next stage.

Stuffed 4-0 by Saints u23s.

Positives, some game time for Matt Harrold and Jordon Roberts.
First goal was our keeper punching a corner into his own net. Liverpool paid over a million for this guy! If Morris gets injured we could be in trouble.

By all accounts Josh Sims had a really good game for them. Might be worthwhile getting the scouts down to watch him to see if he can be brought in on loan in Jan.

With a view to helping the future English team develop Southampton gave 90 minutes to Florin Gardos a Romanian international....er?

I'm genuinely sorry that happened.
Was actually decent. I was living in Liverpool at the time so it was the closest match we'd played to me in a while, I met some other united fans on the train who I'm still friends with to this day, Andy Preece scored 4 goals, and a pub owner in Widnes gave us a free case of wine.

Well I think we're guaranteed a home tie in the next round of this tinpot trophy because we won our group.

I've no idea when this will be played, but I presume it will be before April.

So we made 33 changes to the starting XI across all three matches. £15,000 fine coming? We'll still be £5,000 up!
Anyone else done that?

Marcus Bignot's first game in charge last night and talk about a new manager changing a clubs fortunes, in his first game we managed to score double the amount of goals we had scored in the last month.
Carry on at this rate and we should have the league won by the end of march. :animatedf: :bg1:

I can't believe for the first time in years, we actually have decided to get some decent results in this competition.

Still, not been to any of the games. Disappointed about the 300 or so that went to Derby. Should've saved their time & money and gone to Pompey at the weekend instead.

I cringed when we drew Derby in this competition because I knew that a dubious number just wouldn't be able to hold themselves back from attending the iPro game. I guess a visit there is only behind chesterfield and the Nottingham clubs (possibly the Sheffield clubs) in being an essential derby game, and we've never played at that ground.

If I'd have given it more thought I'd have knocked up a Trump-like wall on the A38 to keep those without moral fibre this side of the motorway.
