IT'S A BOTTLING!

Spurs should be deducted points for failing to control their players. We could still have St Totts!

Pretty sure 100 years from now people will still be asking how Dier didn't get a second yellow too. Spurs just completely lost it.

I think the fact that Chelsea didn't lose anything from it, got the ball 80 yards up the pitch and won a free kick helped, plus the fact it was about 10 seconds before the end of the game probably meant that Clattenburg either "forgot" about it or decided to give him the benefit of the doubt as it had been quite a feisty game. In fairness to him he did well to keep things sort of under control, if other referees were in charge it could have ended 8 or 9 a side.

mighty, mighty Ks
That was most satisfying. At half time I was all ready to proclaim this Chelsea XI unfit to lace Bumstead's boots but it was a much improved second half performance (inspired by Hazard really, who ought to have started). Let's not overlook the fact that Tottenham are a fucking awful bunch of fouly shitcunts. They could quite comfortably have been down to eight or nine (Lord only knows what would have been the reaction if it was Costa, rather than Dembele, engaging in hideous eye-gouging antics). Long may they never win the title.

So, so pleased for Leicester and Ranieri. I lived in the city for three years when I was a student at Leicester Uni and have retained quite a lot of affection for the club, always keeping an eye out for their results. It's an incredible story and Claudio has always seemed like such a lovely guy (I actually didn't especially rate him as a manager when he was at Chelsea, but there's plenty who did and there's still loads of affection for him at the Bridge).

All the theatrics, kicking, eye-gouging and scrapping turned this into el classico with about 10% of the talent on show.

Tbf they were never in a positon to have lost it, weren't Leicester ahead of them all season?

I was meaning on the pitch at the time with all the kicking and fighting.

Lost my shit when Hazard made it 2-2.

What a game, however. You're not meant to like matches like this with all the foul play, but that goes down as one of the most enjoyable games I think I've ever watched. Spurs just completely imploded. Utterly mental 90 minutes.
I thoroughly enjoyed it too; it's not all about the art.

And wasn't it great?

Only because I knew, deep down, that Ranieri was enjoying a lovely Italian meal with his 96-year-old mother in a picturesque Italian setting and therefore wasn't subjected to that monstrous display of ignominy.

Spurs and Chelsea were a disgrace at the end. United and Arsenal were docked points in 90-91 for far tamer scenes

That incident in 90/91 was a complete storm in a teacup but the media blew it out of all proportion. I think the fact that we have so much more media coverage of football across so many platforms has diluted our impression of how badly Spurs and Chelsea behaved.

Yeah the "Brawl" in 90/91 was a bit of pushing and shoving

We haven't seen scenes like that in the PL for a long time and I for one would like to see more of it. The game is becoming too nicey nicey.

Well I'd certainly welcome a points deduction for Tottenham.
