Pretty sure 100 years from now people will still be asking how Dier didn't get a second yellow too. Spurs just completely lost it.
Tbf they were never in a positon to have lost it, weren't Leicester ahead of them all season?
Nearly.Leicester to win the title with two games remaining for me. Score draw.
1-1
All the theatrics, kicking, eye-gouging and scrapping turned this into el classico with about 10% of the talent on show.
I thoroughly enjoyed it too; it's not all about the art.Lost my shit when Hazard made it 2-2.
What a game, however. You're not meant to like matches like this with all the foul play, but that goes down as one of the most enjoyable games I think I've ever watched. Spurs just completely imploded. Utterly mental 90 minutes.
And wasn't it great?
That incident in 90/91 was a complete storm in a teacup but the media blew it out of all proportion. I think the fact that we have so much more media coverage of football across so many platforms has diluted our impression of how badly Spurs and Chelsea behaved.Spurs and Chelsea were a disgrace at the end. United and Arsenal were docked points in 90-91 for far tamer scenes
