19th v 10th in this clash, with lots of stake at both ends of the table.
Chesterfield are in a rubbish run of form and are slowly slipping back towards the relegation zone. Whilst their squad might be poor, I thought they'd have enough firepower in SEB and Novak to get them clear of the drop zone. They desperately need a result and may have come up against Posh at the best time.
Posh have not been themselves for a while now. Since the 1-1 draw to Shrewsbury back in December, they have found goals hard to come by, managing just 7 in their last 8 league games. They have also won just 2 of those games and have dropped out of a play off spot. Their excellent draw with WBA last weekend might be both a good and a bad thing. Good in the sense that they scored 2 good goals and its bound to give them confidence, bad in the sense that they now have a replay on Tuesday, so might rest players or become distracted come Saturday.
Would both sides take a draw here? Reckon this might be the outcome.
Form(last 6 games):
