19th v 10th in this clash, with lots of stake at both ends of the table.

Chesterfield are in a rubbish run of form and are slowly slipping back towards the relegation zone. Whilst their squad might be poor, I thought they'd have enough firepower in SEB and Novak to get them clear of the drop zone. They desperately need a result and may have come up against Posh at the best time.

Posh have not been themselves for a while now. Since the 1-1 draw to Shrewsbury back in December, they have found goals hard to come by, managing just 7 in their last 8 league games. They have also won just 2 of those games and have dropped out of a play off spot. Their excellent draw with WBA last weekend might be both a good and a bad thing. Good in the sense that they scored 2 good goals and its bound to give them confidence, bad in the sense that they now have a replay on Tuesday, so might rest players or become distracted come Saturday.

Would both sides take a draw here? Reckon this might be the outcome.

Form(last 6 games):

Chesterfield: W2, D1, L3, F13, A11, Pts 7
Peterborough: W2, D1, L3, F6, A7, Pts 7

Recent meetings:
Chesterfield 1-3 Peterborough(JPT Final, 30 Mar 2014), Chesterfield 3-2 Peterborough(L1, 26 Dec 2014), Peterborough 1-0 Chesterfield(L1, 21 Mar 2015), Peterborough 2-0 Chesterfield(L1, 26 Dec 2015)

I probably would take a draw if pushed but we could do with three points.

Never sure what to expect from Peterborough. They've signed a few haven't they? Hopefully they're a little disjointed, Liddle slips into Morsy's slot seamlessly and our more creative players can influence the game. If pushed for a result I suspect we'll narrowly lose though obviously I hope to be wrong.

Can't see us getting anything with out Morsy and our centre half pairing. 2-1 Boro.

The brief bout of optimism we had after the Shrewsbury and Rochdale games seems to have well and truly worn off now. The reality is that Peterborough are a better side than us and like most sides have done this season, will come to our place and brush us aside.

Yay!

:lol:

We are a shambles of a club. Peterborough, genuinely one of the poorest teams that have come up here all season, reduced to 9 men and they still beat us. I try to shrug off loses, as we're so bad that they're fully expected now but i feel really pissed off after watching that. How we've gone from having the team we had last season to this shower of shit in the space of 6, 7 months with seemingly no impact on the clubs debt........i just don't know.

Dave Allen and Chris Turner's decision making deserve relegation.
