Accrington have signed Sean McConville from us for an undisclosed fee. It won't be much and he went missing a lot last season so no big loss. Will give George Thomson a chance to shine.

Love Yakubu, one of my favourite ever Barney players. Woking don't deserve him  good signing that.

We've signed Ismail Yakubu. Any good?

Good signing for you. Would have been happy for him to stay with us for next season. Very steady overall and good in the air especially. Gets his fair share of headed goals too. Only question mark is his fitness - does tend to pick up injuries, having said that he played 30 plus last season.

For Newport two years ago, yes he was pretty good. Haven't seen him since however but if he's been a regular (not sure he has) in league 2, he's probably just as good. Also got promoted with Wimbledon I think?

Not sure how he's got on at Newport in L2 but on the face of it that seems like a very good signing. He's an experienced CB with three promotions from the Conference on his CV - can't believe he's still only 30 though, was expecting 34 or 35.

I would say that's a very good signing at this level.

I like this.

Barnet legend, I'm still sad that we released him in 2010.
Also, a good omen for you is that he has played in three teams that have won promotion from the Conference.

Shame we won't get to play against him this season. Definitely a Barnet old boy who would get a positive reception.

I'm happy enough with that, did well for us last season but might not have really seen as much action this season with Thomson looking like a real improver in the same position.

To most Barrow fans it'll be a mystery that he's even still being paid to play football, let alone in the League.
One of the worst players I can remember, mainly due to a complete lack of effort. I can only assume he decided to knuckle down and work hard, because he was awful (admittedly in our relegated team).

Yakubu is a great signing for Woking. As mentioned, the only question mark is around is injury history, but dropping down a level should help that, and he'll be one of the best defenders at this level.

Burr seems to have a knack of getting the best out of some players, we signed a few this time last year with Conference North in mind, and they all did better than expected at this level up instead.

I'm surprised he's managed to get himself back in the league though, admittedly only with Accy.

Guiseley have signed Will Hatfield from FC Halifax. Ex Accrington Stanley with 83 FL apperances
I seem to have missed this. That's a good signing for them, a very good footballer. Guisley will surprise a lot of people next season, I might even get along to watch them myself, in a patronising the little guy kind of way, when were not at home. :pond:

In the same sort of way then, I may go watch FC Halifax when we are not at home..... ;)

Are there even any players left at Halifax? Long, hard season ahead it seems...:sur:

Finally we announce our first Signing. Young 22 year old left back Ryan Wilson (Son of former manager Kevin) from Ilkeston FC. We must have offered a fair bit to tempt him to not follow his dad to Nuneaton!

We have half a team so far it´s only June what more do you want.....NA will work his magic,,,, we will be up there at the end on the season.:10::hb::hb:

With all the work done on your pitch I'm guessing playing on grass might upset your playing style this season.

Is a 2 year deal for a Conference North side a good idea?

Either Preston Edwards or Brandon Hall will be leaving us on a season long loan apparently. Wouldn't surprise me to see whoever it is go to a Club in the Premier.

He was with us last season, came with a load of promise but never really given a chance, dropped after one poor game and never seen again. One of Mill's strangest signings. Hope he can resurrect his career with you.
