Amazing how a win against a Swans team 'on their holidays' suddenly changes everyone's mood. Spurs were champions elect last Tuesday!!

I desperately want them to do it, and they deserve it, but its nowhere near finished yet. If Spurs drop points tonight or versus Chelsea? Then its nearly job sorted for them.

If Spurs don't win every game then it's over, but until they drop some points or we keep the wins up it's not done. It could be back to a 5 point gap tonight. If we lose to Utd and they beat Chelsea it's a 2 point gap with 2 games left. Definitely still all to play for.
The only reason Spurs won't win tonight is if they crumble under the pressure. Chelsea and Southampton however could be real tests for them.

4 points from their remaining 3 games will likely be enough. But I reckon they'll beat both United and Everton, rendering the final match day moot regardless of what Spurs do.

This is far from over yet. Spurs will beat West Brom tonight and the lead will be back to 5 with 9 still to play for.

That said, I do believe that Spurs need to win all of their matches to stand a chance and I suspect Chelsea will be raising their game against them and likely to nick something off them.

If I was to have a bet on it, I'd go for something along these lines:

Leicester:
Man Utd (a) - L
Everton (h) - W
Chelsea (a) - D
Final Pts - 80

Spurs:
West Brom (h) - W
Chelsea (a) - D
Southampton (h) - W
Newcastle (a) - D
Final Pts - 76

I will just add though, that I rarely win with my football bets.........

Not so sure on that Pagnell, I think that despite the boring nature of the football LVG has got them grinding results out. Fancy Utd to nab 4th spot to be honest

In their last 6 league games, United have beaten one team in the top half, namely Manchester City over a month ago. The only other top half team they played was Spurs, who they lost to. So they might be grinding out results, but not against teams who are playing as well as Leicester. They won't finish 4th for me.

With Chelsea players openly declaring their hatred for Spurs and how they would love it if Leicester won the league, I reckon the league race is over. 8 points even after today's win is a massive gap considering few games remaining.

Hazard and Fabregas have laid the groundwork for the throwing of the match against Leicester on the final day by giving interviews to the media about how much they don't want Spurs to win the league.

Me and G-Dragon were on the same wavelength for a second there, that's scary!

We've lost 3 all season, gone on a string of successive 1-0 wins, still gained a result whilst being a man down against a very good West Ham side and are the most in form side in the league. I think the Tinkerman has LvGs number when it comes to grinding it out this season when it matters.
Vardy's presence is going to be the key factor.

Well Pags me old chestnut 4 is a bit of a redundant number here fella. If Spurs win all their games we'll need 5. If they win 3 but draw 1 we'll need 3 points. Depending on what Spurs do we might need 5,3,2,1 or 0. But we won't need 4! :D

Our record against the 'better' sides is actually the reason we're still in with a shout of top 4. Losing to the likes of Sunderland, Norwich, Swansea, West Brom and Bournemouth is what has fucked us up.

Points won vs. 'big 6' this season:

Man Utd (18)
Liverpool (12)
Spurs (10)
Arsenal (10)
Chelsea (9)
Man City (4)

I don't think we'll lose to Leicester at home.

Man Utd are the only side left for us that can take more points off of us than we have them. The only side that's done it is Arsenal.

Funny you should post right after Smat Mark as along with the aforementioned Arsenal and Manchester Utd your side is the only other team we haven't beaten this season.

We should have won at home too! Although fortunate to come away from KP with a draw, that was very hard fought.

Chasing Spurs are looking for Leicester to draw once and lose one in their remaining three games.
