I know you were all desperate to be the first, so my Apologies for getting in before you to say well done and congratulations to the millers for maintaining their championship status.
Look forward to the pleasure of your company again next season

Has Evans managed to change his revolving door team selection and player signing policy yet? I thought that was going to be Rotherham's downfall. But one way or another they've stopped up, so fair play to Evans. Even if he isn't capable of holding any graciousness in victory at all!

Imagine having to make your own congratulations thread.
I don't somehow think I would have been the first with a commiserations thread had we lost last night!

I think you would love to make your own congratulations thread in the next few weeks ?

It could so nearly have been but not in the football sense.
BTW congrats to Bournemouth, well deserved, best team I've seen this year. You anailated us in the cup this year. I didn't think we were that bad, Bournemouth were that good.
Based on comfortably beating millers this year index, then watford, bmouth & middlesborough promoted.

Do Rotherham fans still hate Matt Derbyshire? considering he's pretty much kept you up.

“Hopefully Rotherham will bottle it on the last day of the season and we get a win at Wolves.”

That's what Gregory said, hardly saying that Rotherham would bottle it. Evans is such a bellend.

Congrats to Rotherham, that awful fat c*** aside.
Beat us twice over the season and survived a point deduction. Can't really argue with that. Best team won out in the end.

Hope Boston United go up this season, that will provide some kind of small retribution for Evans' stupidity.

Never known a turnaround in a player so much. He was absolutely garbage up til January but brilliant since.

Yeah, eventually. Got a settle team now and the additions of Hunt and Martinez on loan made us stronger. Derbyshire came good and Danny Ward was a top signing in January. Kirk Broadfoot has been quality too after a dodgy start. Fancy us for mid-table with a few good signings in the summer.

I'm just glad Evans has ruled out a move to us.

Don't want the fat c*** anywhere near the club.

That makes us both happy then.
Though your chairman clearly did.
Maybe he wants success more than you.....just a thought. :)

Congratulations to the Millers and especially all the Millers on this forum.

I admit that at the beginning of the season I expected you to be where Brentford are, but you've survived the drop. Worth reflecting on where Orient are..funny how the world changes from year to year.

Good luck for next season.

I think most Millers fans would have been happy to finish just above the relegation places so it was a great night against Reading.

Hopefully we can get a little bit more established next year.
For a team with our resources it has to be an agenda of steady progress, maybe we can pick up some decent freebies when other clubs start to release players.

At least we know where we are with the manager now he has come out and said he is staying.
I know he isn't popular with a lot of fans on here but he is almost as big a legend as Ronnie Moore in my eyes.

Good luck in your quest for the play offs.

He's a bigger legend than Ronnie, physically anyway.

I predict a season of struggle again next season for the Millers.

Really nice to see all 3 promoted teams have done well this season! Congrats Rotherham.

I reckon you'll finish a couple of places higher next season, but unless the style of football changes somewhat, I can't see much higher.

Rotherham manager Steve Evans says he will wear some fairly unusual attire on the touchline at Leeds on Saturday …. if Sky Sports News HQ viewers demand it!

Ahead of Tuesday night’s game with Reading, Evans said he would don flip-flops, shorts, a sombrero and sunglasses if Rotherham got the win they needed to ensure Championship survival.

Size 36 waist trousers and a 40L jacket? To be fair, any clothing that size squeezed onto his petite frame would look rather good.

What's that you say? It's not "attire" but "a tyre"! Ah. Right.
