Good luck Barrow, not a fan of how it's been decided (as I said before) but enjoy your derby with Carlisle. Now they have a real local rival instead of picking on other clubs which shall remain nameless.

Congrats Barrow. Been the best team over the course of the season so they deserve it.

Not a fan of this July 18th for start date of the playoffs. Puts us another month behind recruitment wise. Midtable teams have a massive advantage for next season in that respect.

Not a chance, he's on every football forum in the world.

He'll have definitely signed up to all those confirmed League Two club forums this evening. Just pending approval on email. I guarantee he will be back down here all the time though seeing how Wrexham are doing.

I feel for the Tranmere fans tonight, they were riding high this time last year ready to tackle League One football again after back-to-back promotions and now they are going back to Holker Street.

Quicker to get to Morecambe. About time they went down, anyway.

You have done very, very well and if we don't go up, I look forward to us having a proper rivalry with you guys unlike the tinpot one we have with Wood at the moment!

Also, I like Grosvenor Vale, at least it has charm unlike many grounds at this level!

It would be interesting what happens next season if you don't go up. Am I right in saying both clubs haven't played each other competitively since '88 so despite the ground fiasco (and for a few of our supporters they won't step foot in Canons Park), it would take a few years of competitive action for Barnet fans certainly to see us as rivals once again.

For both games vs. Wrexham, (Sir) Glen Little should be honourary guest. For the fuckwits, Bootlegger and the Raider should do a meet and greet in a pub, they'd make a small fortune.

I haven't been paying all that much attention to this farce as it's just dragged on and on and other life stuff became more important

So - Barrow up with one from the PO...got that

Stevenage down but maybe Macclesfield??

Kings Lynn, despite losing 75 games in a row have somehow won promotion as champions with the Wealdstone Raiders (does that 'you want some?' bloke still follow them?) coming up too, got that

Are Fylde relegated??? Chorley and cheating Ebbsfleet as well? Why not Maidenhead?

The play offs in tier 2 seems an absolute mess. I'm not even sure Stephen Hawking could explain that with any clarity either, though no doubt Chipmunx will attempt to.

Anyone help me out here?

God I forgot they were still in L2. And you are right, they need to be brutally relegated.

Correct. Hopefully you will be back up soon too. I've worked with a few Poolies offshore, always a good laugh.

Basically it's as per normal circumstances in terms of playoffs for our level, and it will be overall unless some government guidelines dictate that playoffs can't happen in the North and South. If they can't happen, only Chorley will go down, and the winners of the North and South will be promoted to the NL to ensure there are 24 teams in the league.

One team is going to be coming down from L2. It looks like Stevenage, unless Macclesfield get docked a load of points for the 67th time this season.

I'll answer the Wealdstone points.

It's Wealdstone, just Wealdstone. Also, anyone who pronounces it as Weald-stun isn't worthy of your time, it's Weald-stone. Calling us the Raiders is nearly just as bad in reality.

The Raider is a proper part-timer, I'd say on average he was at a quarter of league games these past years but suddenly he'll likely appear more often with a number of new away days on the agenda.

Well done to the promoted clubs, in particular Wealdstone from the other end of the central line!

Are Maidenhead basically safe regardless then? It looks like it to me, just not seen it in writing.

Maidenhead safe. Not officially, but I can't see any scenario in which we go down now.

Congratulations Barrow, enjoy the FL! Evatt has done a fantastic job.

Hopefully we’ll be joining you, although the play-offs really will be a lottery this year.

From what I've read/heard, you seem a lot more equipped than the competition.

You do realise you are now definitely going to be called Wealdstone Raiders all season.

We’ve just lost FLYDE and Ch0-0rley so we need a few more childish replacements.

I don’t usually look at the relegated sides from here until August opening day but it’s usually Ebbsfleet and Woking plus a couple of non-entities from the North who have one season here and are never seen again like Hyde or someone. I assume this happened again this season.

Well done Barrow! Who knows what would have happened had the season continued but PPG was the only available option to complete the season.

Not the way you want to go up but when you’re lining up in L2 next season, I’m sure you won’t care how you got there!

after 48 years in the wilderness we / you / anyone would graciously accept promotion however it's achieved - it's a day i thought i'd never see and before this season didn't even dare dream of....

87/88 was indeed the last time we played each other competitively. We won 7-0 at Lower Mead!
if we don’t shithouse our way to the League, I’ll very much be looking forward to a trip to Grosvenor Vale.

Yourselves and Moors will be my local games now, bet they are scheduled for when I’m away. If we are ever allowed to have a holiday again.

We will surprise a few in how many we take away, compared to our average home attendance.

Looking forward to it, UTS.

The problem is gonna be what type of teams they can even put together. Pretty much all players will be out of contract & you could end up with a load of players refusing to play due to not wanting to risk injury.

Then you got a situation where some players have already signed for other clubs. Some clubs have even let aload of players go already...I'm sure I read that Brackley currently only have like 9-10 players.

So its gonna be very interesting what actually happens.
10 players I know of. I'm sure we could drum some more up from somewhere... but really not sure it's worth the money and effort given the odds

Think I agree, the punt isn`t worth the risk to the longer term budget, and probably more important is the challenge of getting a competitive NL squad together in five minutes. Would be nice to think the testing budget for all three divisions might be picked up by the Premier League as a charity contribution... dream on, sadly.

I'm praying something happens that's gives us some sort of reprieve. I mean how many times did aldershot get saved.
One thing is for sure, as a club we are absolutely despised. Read twitter and it's just constant abuse. 90% of them are stockport fans like but still. We are hated
