Have you seen their crowd, cool hipsters all probably anti lockdown and antivaxers. I cringed when I attended so far up their own arses, people called Tarquin and jemima discussing organic Ocado deliveries on the terraces. Credit to their board for sucking them all in though but not sure what they’ll do if they ever went up and no beers in view of the pitch.

You think the anti lockdown and antivax types are hipster socialists? Pretty much everyone who believes that stuff is on the populist right.

with the isolation time down from 14 to 10 days i guess that means some games that are postponed could have been played?

our match at Yeovil is off tomorrow due case(s) at Yeovil. Will actually be a good thing for us to get 3-4 players back from injury.

I swear everyone says this when they get a game called off?

The games that are going to get cancelled will be moved to a midweek creating another busy schedule where every team will most likely have injuries then aswell.

Mostly because one of our injuries is by far our best and most important player.

One of the theories that Ardley (and presumably the owners’ data people) has is that we’ve deliberately gone for a big squad rather than making the odd more expensive signing because we expect there to be loads of fixture congestion towards the end of the season and want to be able to rotate during it more than anyone else.

It kind of worked last season where we were winning every game before lockdown despite making loads of changes each time.

One case within the club so everyone is isolating and we don't have a game until after Christmas.

Funny how I’m attending a game today in the 12th worst place in the country with highest rates per 100,000 but travelling from the 3rd worst place, yet some clubs can’t even have fans at a match.

Meanwhile hospitals in Kent are now close to capacity Major backlog as hospital 'reaches capacity'

We seem to be sleep walking into a disaster & the idiots of this county don't seem to care. As long as they get their normal Christmas, fuck everything else seems to be the approach around here.

Bad news for us given our momentum and the timing means we lose 3 or 4 games. Be hard work catching up Sat/Tue through Jan and Feb for us both!

That part of the world, has been doing that for a few years.

The Farage mindset of petty jingoism and xenophobia, blinded most of them to what the county is now starting to reap as it becomes the bottleneck of supply and trade.
Even in the face of a global pandemic, this bloody minded stupidity prevails.
Ironic that the mutated virus found its home in the key centre of the intellectually challenged foot soldiers of farage, ratcliffe and Martin.

A very Brexit strain

I must say, that is an incredible effort to somehow link a strain of a virus to Brexit.

I suspect therein lies half the the problem in the UK

Touched a nerve. Must have not been listening to farage enough, who has been following his alt right paymasters over in the US.....spouting the same liberties and sovereignty bs about covid restrictions spouted from the same playbook as his Brexit rhetoric but you put your little head back in the trough. Nothing for you to see...

I don't support Brexit at all but blaming a specific region based on their politics is a bit off when London, Manchester, Leicester and other remain leaning cities have all had localised outbreaks.

He hasn't said anything since 18th November
It was more of a tongue in cheek comment, because in this whole situation Jim has normally been quick to comment when anyone has questioned his handling of this situation.

Our owner has been ranting on twitter for days now about wanting this report published
