Oh goodie, we return to Fortress Gresty Road. Literally can't wait for what is sure to be a feast of football.
We at least will have some bodies back. Kingsley, Haber and Wilson will be available for selection. Kingsley will likely slot straight back in for Baillie, with Turton switching back to RB. We'll also likely have Jones back on the bench so long as he gets through our U21s fixture in the week. Not sure what Davis does with his attackers. Keep 4-3-3? Go 4-2-3-1? Or how about a simple 4-4-2 with both strikers starting? Radical idea I know, but maybe give it a whirl eh Steve? It'll be 4-3-3 though.
As for Gills, fair play to ya. Steadily built a good squad over the last couple of years and it's now one of the strongest in the league this season. Looking very good bets for the play offs at least.
Very tough game this. Gillingham have got goals all over the team and that's without McDonald as well. As we won on Saturday, we can have the obligatory "have we turned a corner" thoughts, only to find out come this game that we haven't. I just don't see us being able to handle Gillingham here. Far too much talent for our stuttering group. We'll lose, could even be a heavy one. Crowd will be low too. Roll on next Tuesday.
