Sorry Swindon fans, I know you are still digesting your teams home win tonight, but I'm bored.
Well, Davis has some decisions to make in the run up to this game. With Ben Garratt being ruled out for the rest of the season and Ross Etheridge returning to Derby, we need another keeper bringing in/back. Does he get back Scott Shearer, who hasn't played a senior game for anybody since August, or get in another rookie loanee? Whoever comes in, I'd have them start over Rachubka. Don't think its a good idea to have Shearer recalled and then sit him on the bench yet again, also don't think its a good idea to bring in a young loanee and have them sit on the bench over the journeyman Rachubka. But, if we do bring in a loanee, that means no new striker. Decisions decisions. I'd put Turton back to RWB, bring in Greg Leigh in at LWB and keep the team the same as the last few weeks.
As for Swindon, they are having a great season and look set for another promotion push and possible stab at the autos. They've got the second best away form in the league and have a very good squad of players. Williams and Smith upfront, Kasim and Luongo in midfield, Thompson, Fotheringham. We are going to have our work cut out to get a result in this one, their recent away form troubles aside.
But, Swindon hate Gresty Road of late, not winning any of their last 5 trips and only scoring twice. Hell, we played dogshit against them last season and still managed to grab a draw. Going to need that good run of results to continue here, not sure it will though.
Going 1-3 defeat, Ajose, Williams, Smith and Luongo scoring.
