Sorry Swindon fans, I know you are still digesting your teams home win tonight, but I'm bored.

Well, Davis has some decisions to make in the run up to this game. With Ben Garratt being ruled out for the rest of the season and Ross Etheridge returning to Derby, we need another keeper bringing in/back. Does he get back Scott Shearer, who hasn't played a senior game for anybody since August, or get in another rookie loanee? Whoever comes in, I'd have them start over Rachubka. Don't think its a good idea to have Shearer recalled and then sit him on the bench yet again, also don't think its a good idea to bring in a young loanee and have them sit on the bench over the journeyman Rachubka. But, if we do bring in a loanee, that means no new striker. Decisions decisions. I'd put Turton back to RWB, bring in Greg Leigh in at LWB and keep the team the same as the last few weeks.

As for Swindon, they are having a great season and look set for another promotion push and possible stab at the autos. They've got the second best away form in the league and have a very good squad of players. Williams and Smith upfront, Kasim and Luongo in midfield, Thompson, Fotheringham. We are going to have our work cut out to get a result in this one, their recent away form troubles aside.

But, Swindon hate Gresty Road of late, not winning any of their last 5 trips and only scoring twice. Hell, we played dogshit against them last season and still managed to grab a draw. Going to need that good run of results to continue here, not sure it will though.

Going 1-3 defeat, Ajose, Williams, Smith and Luongo scoring.

You'll score against us as we're so prone to overplaying at the back; you will have chances, but we create tons too.

If we finish our chances I fancy us to sneak a win. If we don't, then we'll struggle to get anything.

I'd prob take a draw with two home games after this game

Gotta get something with a decent performance otherwise confidence is going to evaporate and gloom will set in.

Need the chances to start falling to Ajose again and not Haber. Whilst Ajose requires 3 chances for every goal he scores at least that goal eventually comes., Haber's just dogshit.

I remain hopeful last weekend will just act as a kick up the backside.

We never win at Crewe.

BUT.

I'm not going this time (been the last three seasons) as I am back living down south (au revoir Warrington) so we may have a decent chance.

Tough game but we always do well at home to Swindon.

Crewe 1-1 Swindon (Ajose, Williams) 4,457 (450 Swindon?)

I would think we will bring closer to 750 , hoping for another win but it will be tough against a rejuvenated Alex. 1 - 2 with Williams and Obika getting Town goals

Almost forgot to say. Is there a ground in England that has a train station as close to the football stadium as Crewe? I google mapped it and its amazingly close!

For now. It'll probably be swallowed up by HS2 and we'll be sent packing a couple of miles down the track.

Long term gains.
Ajose's nailed on to score at least one.

Does this ref know what he's doing?

0-0, ugh. Didn't sound pretty but think we probably deserved the win there. Just seems like we've forgotten how to score at the crucial time in the season.

Sounds like your players halos slipped? 5 bookings and a red? Or were Crewe the dirty side today?

Much better performance from us compared to the last couple of games, the energy was there that was completely missing at Barnsley. Either side could have snatched it tbh and with that I don't think anyone can complain about 0-0. George Ray was excellent tbf. Haber just not good enough. Rachubka is clearly going to cost us (again?) at some point unfortunately.

Referee. Just lol. Find a new job mate.

Stalemate in an entertaining goalless draw. 11 yellows and 2 reds? What a sack!

Think a point fair.

Only one bad tackle during the game, and that was when Greg Leigh got taken out in front of the big stand. And even then the defender went for the ball, just that Leigh got their just before him. Awful, awful ref. Properly shit, can't believe the amount of bookings he gave.

Enjoyed the game though. Very good for a 0-0.

Good game despite there being no goals and very few clear goalscoring opportunities. Both sides were fully committed and it was nice to see us play a hard pressing game as well put some tackles in.

Biggest disappointment for me was Tate getting sent off, late in the game like that he should avoid the tackle and not give the ref an excuse to send him off. Moron of the day goes to the ref, although Stephens tried to upstage him by booting the ball out the ground when on a yellow. What a brainless action which could have cost Swindon a point.

Neither side deserved to win, a point was fair.

Yeah Branco took out Leigh but I don't think it was a bad tackle,
Just a shade late.

I applauded ajose off and some cock behind me asked me why I was clapping him as he didn't play for us any more. I hate our fans sometimes!

Have to say when we beat Crewe earlier this season they were one of the worst teams I had seen.

Today was a good game, Crewe much improved.

One of the better 0-0's I've seen. Sat in the family stand (had free tickets) for the 1st time in a very long time. Thought even the atmosphere was a shade better than normal, I would even expect to hear the GRE from that end of the ground but I was pleasantly surprised.

As already mentioned the ref was a complete tool, far too card happy, but Tate and especially Stephens were very stupid to get sent off.

I'd have took a draw beforehand so fairly happy, just hope we can build on it with two key games next week.
