I was slightly peeved at dropping in the final month or two. Had a poor Vuelta and VDP bottling the world champs was the final straw. Still a decent showing but I held top spot for long enough.

Jumbo Visma, Ineos and Mitchelton Scott (all the classics heavyweights heh) all not racing for a couple of weeks because of Coronavirus. But matter of time before the UCI just halt races completely? If the Belgian teams start pulling out then the races will be a bit of a farce.

Bianche, Tirreno and Sanremo all postponed/cancelled. Absolute travesty.

Was supposed to be on holiday in Paris and Madrid this week so I'm stuck at home with nothing to do. I say nothing to do, but I'm watching a 4 hour video of the 2004 Paris-Roubaix on YouTube now, so it's safe to say I'm using the time productively.

Eurosport should definitely play out the season as-live with races from previous years. Not just the Grand Tours (in full, day by day) but I want Schelderpijs, Tour of Turkey, Grand Prix de Wallonie... the lot.

Nasty crash at the end of the first stage in Poland as they sprinted for the line.

Hope all involved are ok .

Jakobsen in ICU. Multiple head and chest injuries. The video of the crash is pretty horrific.

Tour of Poland is cursed.

Roglič pulling out made for an interesting last stage of the Dauphine with quite a few in contention.

In the end David Martinez's 2nd place in the stage won him the overall standings ahead of Pinot.

Froome is fucked after his crash. You simply can’t return from an open femur break to be a TdF contender the next year. I suspect he’ll now definitely do one to someone like Israel. Ineos are signing Adam Yates supposedly, so simply no desperation from Ineos to keep Froome for even a super domestique role. Can’t see him winning another GT tho (ok, he’ll probably win the Vuelta now).

And Thomas is just wank. Struggles to stay up right on two wheels.

Froome's already agreed to sign for Israel next year, hasn't he? On some mentally long contract.

Yates to Skineos has just been confirmed as well. Disappointing.

Amazing turn around.

Both just looked stunned with their different emotions.

Apart from yesterday. He was a proper dick yesterday. Ruined the end of LBL with stupid, drunk, dangerous riding.

Sagan finally wins a stage/race for the first time in over a year.

Not sure how long the Giro will go on for though - quite a few positive Covid tests going around.
