The Derby owner will be even less impressed!

Well that was fucking dreadful again.

Every team has a blip or two, but these last two performances are extremely concerning.

Absolute blinding day, was on a 13 hour night shift last night, had 2 1/2 hours sleep before driving up, well worth the exhaustion this evening. We weathered a bit of a storm in the first half at times but in the second half there was only one team in it, we were actually properly good :eyes:, hit the bar, conspired to miss two of the easiest chances you'll ever see and still scored 3 good goals (look out for the 3rd on the FL Show, it's a belter) the most ardent of Derby fan couldn't have argued had it been 0-5.

Checked our tickets, 'Row X', very back row, quite a lot of steps , cracking view though...

What were the sitters missed?

What storm did you weather in the first half? We had one bit of pressure and that was after the 3rd goal!

I was right behind the third. I'm convinced it took a deflection on the on rushing defender.

First half ball into the box, 3 yards out open goal in front of him (Davies I think) put it wide. Second half VSO squared into the box to gleeson, keeper to beat from 8 yards out, goes almost out for a throw...two off the top of my head.

In the first half I dread to think what the possession stats were, every single time we won the ball we gave it straight back to you, I'd hazard at guess at 70%/30%, to not concede during that is, in my opinion, weathering a storm.

Just seen the 3rd goal on FLS, clean a strike as you could wish to see, definitely no deflection.

Ha! Seemed like 3 shots earlier. You had a twenty minutes spell in the second half where you kept getting corner and free kicks.

I like rowett but he's from the school of win at all costs. Lots of over reaction to tackles and incidents. Referee was a complete twat at times but not enough to direct the result. Saying that 4 minutes added time was complete joke.

I know you said it looks a clean strike but I'm sat in the south stand and 99% sure it took a defection to bend the ball in. Good strike though and can see why you'll disagree based on seeing the goal myself.

Try and say that with a straight face.
I'd agree - rowett seems a good manager but wouldn't want him based on the football that Birmingham play. Very much a direct play. Soon as you worked out Donaldson had keogh in winning headers the ball was pumped up every opportunity second half. Rightly too as well as its an advantage - I just wouldn't want to see that football at PP.

Rowett's tactical balance of defence and counter-attack works well for the players we have, who are majority free transfers. If he had the luxury of working on a budget of Derby's, he would get his side promoted.

Birmingham did what Reading should have done on Tuesday, and that was to batter us with absolute ease.

Turns out I was optimistic to predict the draw. I can't say I'm surprised though - we're a uncreative, rigid, dull side.

I've heard 'yeah, but you're third' too many times since Saturday. I can count on one hand how many good performances we've had this season.
