Last season we dominated for 89 minutes, had a comfortable 2-0 lead, and then threw it away at the end to draw.

This season we'll go one worse. Three injury time goals to lose.

Derby 2-3 Birmingham

I remember this game last season those two injury time goals cost me a few hundred quid on a bet

Please don't do the same again

Well seeing as you've both mentioned it, let's relive the action, complete with Radio Derby commentators :fl::fl::fl:

"where is he getting this time from?...WHERE IS HE GETTING THIS TIME FROM!!?!"

Anything other than a loss will be a success in my eyes, I can only really see a Derby win but stranger things have happened (see above).

Pretty obvious where the time came from, took 90 seconds for the penalty to be taken and then Forsyth got booked which took another 10 seconds or so.

Don't stick up for the twat. That would make 4 minutes 40. Not the 5 minutes 30 played. :told:

Tim Robinson could be this years innocent scapegoat, he's only reffed a Derby game once, a 3-1 home loss to Reading. He's reffed us 3 times, we've won all 3 and not had a player booked :animatedf:

It was a minimum of 3 minutes. If you add up the stoppages from Albentosa’s timewasting to Grant’s free-kick (30 seconds), Birmingham’s penalty (1 minute 45 seconds), the foul on Donaldson to when Cotterill took the free-kick (30 seconds), Birmingham’s corner (15 seconds).

That’s where the extra 3 minutes came from. Excellent officiating.

Without question the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen - it was abysmal. The worst thing is, I don't think I'll forget about it until the day I die. It was that bad. It was potentially on a par with Stuart Atwell in THAT Forest game.

Anywho.

Definite draw.

We're awful.

Horrible day that, but in the end it did us a favour - 2 points dropped meant we didn't qualify for what would have been an embarrassing play off campaign.

Onto this game. We've GOT to win just to I still some confidence. We've only lost 1 game all season at home though.

Come on Guapo, everyone in that stadium whether it be fans, managers, media or players knew that game went on longer than it should have. If it was the norm to add every second lost in stoppage time onto the initial stoppage time we wouldn't be having this debate and there wouldn't have been the reaction there was. I've just watched Oxford-Millwall and despite freekicks, throwings and plenty of time wasting do you know how many seconds were added onto the initial 4? 3 seconds. That happens week in week out at every ground in the country, then now and again a ref decides to do what Iain Williamson did that day and there's obviously an aftermath to go with it because it's not consistent with most weeks.

Whilst he was a bellend throughout, the defending was more of an issue for me but then we had Raul Albentosa at centre half so what did we expect. Hopefully we can send you lot back down the a38/a42 a little less ecstatic this time.

Luke - I thought he was joking/piss take. If not then he's lost his rocker for the reasons you state. Further to that, I remember ince (despite being a bellend losing the ball) actually won the ball for the tackle and the free kick leading to the corner was another shocking decision.

I dunno, his first bit is convincing. He's casted one out with the "excellent officiating" bit though. :fish:

Yeah and even away from that debatable decision he was whistle happy all game. I wouldn't be so bothered if it didn't kick our capitulation into full flow last year - but it did.

Everybody except the Radio Derby commentators will know that there is always a 'minimum' of x time added on at the end of the 90. The time when the referee gave the penalty to when Derby kicked off was around 1 minute 45 seconds, and it is at the referee’s discretion to add on more time for bookings, time-wasting, etc. The goal was scored at just past the 95th minute mark so it was about right.

What made that day even better was this twat giving it large when Derby were 2-0 up with a few minutes left to play.

Shocking result but I don't think any Derby fans are genuinely surprised. Well done Brum, cracking result for yourselves.

Wonder if Morris is in the changing rooms for round two.

I did. Not for the reasons you thought, though. Keep up.
