Never could get into Destiny, beat the game in about 5-6 hours of game time, ending came completely out of nowhere at the end of a random generic mission. Game struck me more like an early access game that is still adding features and missions than a full £50 game.

So it took be about an hour to complete 'the taken king' quest line, I think they got the leveling all out. The last mission should be a level 41 mission.

Quite impressed with the new Strikes (PS4) and how they have incorporated the taken into the old strikes.

Found it pretty easy to get my light level to 284 (about 15 hours of gameplay) I used the engram method, should anyone be wondering!

Next stop, the RAID! I loved Crotas end I hope that this is good.

I'm level 300 light after 2 raids completed. Oryx took our group 3 hours to kill, then the 2nd time 20 minutes after we got the mechanics down to a tee.

My first full run through of the new raid tonight. I tried to help a friend out doing Oryx's daughters and they seem pretty easy.

Yeah the deathsingers are the easiest part of the raid. Golgoroth being the hardest or bullet-spongey'est

The Hand Cannon (well two of them actually) 302
The Heavy Machine Gun 307
The Ghost Shell 308
The Bond 305.

No Armour and I do not see me getting anything good next week.

So I am happy that Destiny is now where it needed to be a year ago. The quest lines are much, much better than anything that came before it.

Yesterdays raid got me Two of the Raid Rocket Launcher and the Ghost Shell.

I am yet to get any armour.

Feeling burnt out already, ran raid 5 times. Warlock is 305, Hunter is at 300. I have touch of malice and an exotic sword. I honestly feel like there is nothing left to do in the game.

Time to move on..

I had the exact same conversation! They told me that even though I had gone from like level 16 to 40 in like a day and a half going from 200 light to 285 so I can properly hold my own in a raid would take me weeks! 2 days later I'm 287 and doing my first raids!

I'm loving Destiny's PvE stuff but fuck me Crucible is shockingly bad. Take supers out or maybe just the orbs out and it would be alright but the supers just ruin it.

Don't really play on Crucible.

Do want the trophy for maxing crucible score though.

Actually think this is better than the first attempt.

Quests for exotic guns can take forever - see Touch of Malice.

Really want to play Destiny again, but the DLC is still £40! No thanks..

Especially now you can shop online and get the full game with all 3 expansions for £45..

Never bought The Taken King because the price is a pisstake and the effort put into it is minimal.
Real pity they fucked up this title from day one really. Only took me 2 expansions and a few thousand hours to figure that out.

Took the plunge and got it for £35. Probably will end up being a waste, but then as you guys have said that even if it's mediocre I'll still put in the hours to get good value for money.

Still hate this new system that makes almost everything from Year 1 irrelevant. Just got rid of all my legendary items as I now have blues that are far better light, and I only have 4 first year exotics that can even be upgraded to 280. And even then I have to wait for Xur to sell the upgrades.

Destiny forces you to raid to get the higher light levels.

I hate it too how also weapons like Vex Mythoclast and Gjallahorn are redundant. Aswell as cool legendary weapons like Vision of Confluence.. All the hard work grinding for fuck all.

Has anyone bought Rise of Iron? Good, though vastly expensive, add on. The raids seem to get shorter and shorter, got to the final boss in around an hour.

It's an okay raid. better than crota.. not better than VOG. It's easily done in an hour.. two bosses only split into two phases, abit cheap really. not worth £25 in my opinion. only one new strike too.
