Congrats and well done to all the sides that lost last tonight, but especially Northampton and Orient for going above and beyond in not giving a shit about this tinpot nonsense. Mansfield and Bradford too good unfortunately, expecting heavy defeats in your next matches.

Just realised Mansfield's next match in this is against us actually, so perhaps we can just agree on a 0-0?

Last night was our first win (over 90 mins) in this comp in the five years, even the law of averages says we were due to win at least one.

We made 9 changes and played a hilariously weak side including a youth midfielder up front that most fans I've spoken to have never heard of. (Later replaced by another) We ended the game basically our youth side v Palace youth side. To be fair the 2 first teamers, Shade and Darcy looked head and shoulders above the rest of the field until they were taken off on 60.

It was good to see some of our youth products, striker Wyn-Davis looked handy and 16 year old centre back Sonny Hart who is built like a boxer could have a future.

Yep, great to see from Swindon that. Even threw in a 85th minute red card to make sure Palace didn't fold right at the end.

But seriously though, our lineup is the only thing I really take any interest from. Good to hear you've got some decent youngsters coming through too. It's good that they've relaxed the rules on having so many players from your previous matchday squad. I remember when Luton got fined for playing their kids, the hypocrisy of that when the Premier League clubs get the use the tournament specifically to give their young players a run out was quite astounding. I think all clubs should stick the required 4 players from their previous matchday squad on the bench and then just play their youths/1st and 2nd year grads vs the u21s/23s in this tournament.

We made 11 changes, Oxford made only 4. The first 30mins the game could've been over, they totally outplayed us.

We managed to create a number of chances ourselves this evening to give the scoreline some credability but didn't take them.

Conceded from 3 set plays, made an awful blunder for the 5th and Brannagans second for Oxford was well taken and worked from 25 yards to be fair.

Game honestly could've ended up 9-4. Oxford were miles ahead of us though, as they should be given they played a strong starting XI and we've just literally played all our back up team with eleven changes. Wellens not interested in the cups it seems.
It wasn't as strong a side as you might think. We're riddled with injuries at the moment (8 players out) so although it may have only been four changes from Saturday (I haven't checked) there were only four, or at a stretch five, first choice players involved.

We finished the game with five teenagers and 36 year old coach John Mousinho on the pitch. Still comfortable though, as it should have been.

Yeah in full agreement. Apart from the youth FA Cup we don't get a chance to give the youth team a really tough game against a top class academy side and for me, this is the ONLY positive thing about this tournament really. Palace played a very young side so if we played a proper first team we would have wiped the floor with them. (maybe) Last night would have been valued experience for our 16,17,18 year old hoping to make it and it gives them a taste of what they could have.

First minutes for Timi, Foulds, and Hendrie. Despite a few changes, it's still a decent team for this competition. No idea how strong Wednesday's team is.
Timi was marking a guy who a Wendy fan reckons is on £14k per week. Dunno if that is true but he never got a look in.

Michael Smith? Outside of his penalty, I didn't really notice him do anything really.

No the other guy, Patterson

Oh him. Guessing that £14,000 is made up of him getting 50p every time he throws himself to the floor then. A quid bonus if he gets a pen!

Ooh I hadn’t realised it was Oxford v Orient last night, hope the nasty Orient fans didn’t nick all the Oxford kids fans ice creams and chuck them all on the floor like last time.

We drew 2-2 with Pompey. Telford and Bremang got their first goals for us Bremang with a 95 minute penalty.

Side was a mixture of first teamers and reserves I think Pompey were the same. Not much choice at the back due to injuries.

Won the penalty shoot out 6-5.

We’re 1-0 down to Charlton away early on, don’t really care, but it was an OG. We’ve now scored more own goals than we’ve scored actual goals. Such fun.

Hope there isn't a changing room book on it

I see Harries got a red card to add to his 2 for us last season. How is he playing for you guys generally?

He isn't really so can't really comment. He was OK last night, good on the ball but a bit clumsy and slow. Can't see him playing a lot unless we have a huge injury crisis.

3rd goal in probably little more than 40 minutes of football at the time of going in!!

We’ve improved slightly in the sense that we haven’t smashed the ball in to our own net again, but sadly Charlton’s kids are doing it instead.

3-0

We tried our best to be in line with other clubs as we made eight changes to the starting XI from our game last Saturday.

Sutton beat Chelsea young ‘uns 1-0. Obvs an abomination that they’re in the competition and appreciate it’s a shameful format but provides a little club like us vital funds (PL bribery). Few more in as well for a Pizza Cup game as we’re in a strong Chelsea area (unfortunately). I won’t watch these games (other than Wembley which I couldn’t miss out on, sorry!). We made a few changes as we normally do for this but very much a first team squad.

1-0 win for Sutton over Chelsea’s academy. Not the greatest of performances but we did enough to get the win.
