York and Dagenham won't have as many as Grimsby and Cheltenham, so numbers a little lower next season.

They must be wrong, Woking's average attendance is above those Loyal Diehard Fans at Aldershot.

2nd! That means we get promoted, right?

Sadly not.

It means you have to play one off lottery cup matches against teams you finished HEAD AND SHOULDERS above. :bang:

Your average is only that high because of the vast number we always bring over. Shame you can't do the same though.

Pleased we averaged over 1,000 although its still pretty poor considering the season we had. Hopefully we can get over 1k to every game next season. We were unfortunate in that for a variety of reasons we didn't have any massive away followings at Crabble this season - I think Grimsby brought the most which was about 250

Grimsby's away support will be missed next season in this league as both York and Dagenham have been here before. I expect Tranmere's home crowds will drop next season by around 20%. South Ferriby Rovers aren't exactly going to be putting bums on seats either!

My favourite was talk on the Aldershot forum of your fans BOYCOTTING the away game at Woking because you weren't doing very well.

A close second behind the on pitch selfie for staying up in the Conference with a full time budget and parachute payments.

We was going to BOYCOTT because we didn't want to help pay off your losses (again).

We took the selfies because we stayed up without the parachute payment, we only got that last year.

1,302 for us. Think that's about right. An improvement on last season, although we really need to get off to a flying start to keep that up I feel.

NonLeagueMatters has put up their annual list of top attendances in non-league. As per usual it's the top 250 clubs on attendance, and considering 250th had an average attendance under 200 I'd expect this to relate to most of you.

Looking at that you guys are surely going to have to make every match all ticket early next season aren't you?

It's 1557 on the Linnets Turnstile league as well, so I guess it's right. These averages are for league games only.

It's not out by much, but I believe it's wrong for both years on that site. I expect most teams averages are not perfectly accurate on there - often half the attendances are missed off or they'll include a random Fa trophy game.

The correct average attendance for 2015/16 is 1598. This is using the 23 league home games attendances reported on the official site (these figures are the correct figures).

Edit - I did say it wasn't out by much!

For some reason, I thought ours was circa 2.8k.

Hereford probably got more then the rest of their league put together!

They must be wrong, Woking's average attendance is above those Loyal Diehard Fans at Aldershot.

But both of you are below the mighty FGR. Never thought I'd say that.

Yeah that's probably what's going to happen, hopefully they'll give us the smaller teams early on though, might be able to get away with standard ticketing for those matches.

What is the away allocation there..can't imagine it's more than 300 on those numbers?

We don't know yet, most clubs don't bring anything down here. I think Margate had the most with about 500 a couple of years back.

We were allocated 250 early in the season when they had works going on. I imagine it'll be something similar, maybe 50-100 more depending on what their capacity is reduced to.

Can imagine it being a draw for a lot of clubs in that league with larger followings as it'll be a new ground for everyone I imagine bar Sutton I guess.

Alty were 25th overall at 1230 for league games which sounds about right and similar to previous year, our average including cup games was quite a bit higher.

It will be very interesting to see the average next season with many more local derbies with well supported teams like Stuckport and FCUM etc plus some small sides with few fans.

Any Hobby Club can give out free season tickets.

We don't give out any free season tickets at all. Never have done, never will do. Unlike you.

I think they're both wrong because we had a 3000 gate on Boxing Day, yet the BBC and the papers reported it as 2000. These sites have calculated an average from a total that doesn't include the 1000 that were missed off. Anyway, it doesn't hide the fact that our home support is declining, it's just been covered up by some decent away followings this season.

Outside the top 50 for us. (57th) Attendances have held up well despite relegation but their is certainly room for improvement.
