It might only have been Tunisia, but that opening win felt important for England's confidence, they seemed to go into their shells as that game went on. They are playing what should be inferior opposition, but at the same time, it's a Panama team that were holding Belgium at bay until a wonder goal broke the dam.

Feel this will be even trickier than Tunisia because Panama will camp deep and not given England any space to play. And given how the supporting cast behind Kane played against Tunisia, it does have me slightly worried about where the first goal is coming from. Might have to be a set piece again.

It sounds drastic, but I'd drop Sterling and start Rashford upfront alongside Kane, drop Walker for Cahill and switch out Young for Rose. I suspect we'll see the same again from Southgate though. What changes would you make, if any?

4-0. Kane, Lingard and Rashford x 2.

I think this will be a lot tougher than some think, Panama made life difficult for Belgium in the first half. I reckon we'll labour to a 1 or late 2-0 win.

I’d put Loftus Cheek in for Alli and Rashford for Sterling. Keep the rest the same and build a bit of continuity

Need to start well again as per the other night, but be more clinical and take an early chance or two this time. If we can do that we should be comfortable but as we know, the longer it drags on the worse it will get.

It'll be important to get ourselves ahead in the first 20 or so mins. The longer Panama hold us the harder the game will become.

Would be nice if we could not miss a hatfull of simple chances this time!

Agree with the changes but im not sure on Young starting either so I would like to see Rose in at left wing back.

I wouldn't grumble about Young being dropped, and think it's close between Rashford and Sterling from the start, though still feel the former is probably best utilised as an impact sub, though the decision is marginal.

I predict we will start well and put the game to bed comfortably if not emphatically, 2-0.

Pretty relaxed about this one, even if we somehow fucked up and drew it wouldn't be a disaster so we can go all guns blazing. Score early and this could be a landslide.

Think we'll win 8-0. Kane with 7 and an og which he'll try and claim as well.

Hoping we make this as pain free as possible, a nice early goal and cruise to a 2-0 victory please. Happy to see the inclusion of Loftus-Cheek, hoping Sterling can bag a goal today as well to get him up and running.

Providing they handle the heat england should tick with rlc giving his combativeness in the middle and he can play too.

Bullet header from Stones, brilliant.

Panama are already bordering on disgraceful with their tactics. Grabbing, diving, now a late challenge on Lingard. Hopefully we run 4 or 5 past them.

Panama tactics a disgrace. There for the taking here but do we want to score a bucket load and finish top of the group?

Now that is how to take a penalty. It was travelling so fast the ball beat the keeper for speed - when he extends his arms the ball has already crossed the line,

Haha, get that up ya Panama. What a beauty from Lingard. Nice set up from Sterling as well. That's game over with only 36 minutes played.

Not to be a buzzkill or anything but why show such an effective set piece routine when you're three nil up?

Could use that against Belgium if you're down.

Panama are the worst team I've ever seen at the World Cup. Just for their approach and tactics. How can you continue to hold when you've already been warned about it? These players are properly thick.
