Also went out to Bern via Newcaslte, Geneva and back via Zurich and Heathrow, with a Everton supporting mate. Was a cracking trip, Switzerland is a top country and I wish we had spent more time there as it was a pretty quick trip as we are out in Germany this weekend for the footy.

Nice ground, good atmosphere and friendly fans too which always helps. Will definitely look at going back to Geneva and Ber in the future - if not just for the train journey from Geneva to Bern which went along side the Alps and Lake Geneva. Best £18 ever spent on transport.

4-1 win away from home should be a safe lead for a 2nd leg at home right? Given the sheer panic Tim Howard instills in our defence, Im now not so sure now that Martinez has confirmed that Howard will start in goal...

Hopefully Young Boys will come out all guns blazing and we can pick them off on the break like we did last week.

I'd take a draw.

Mignolet; Touré, Skrtel, Lovren; Ibe, Can, Allen, Moreno; Sterling, Balotelli, Sturridge.

No English players in the Spurs team, no Italian players in the Fiorentina team.

Guingamp a goal down to Kiev at half-time making them virtually out on away goals. Not playing great tbh. Not believing that a goal would solve everything. Kiev aren't that good (missing Yarmolenko and Veloso limped off injured early on), it's possible!

And just as I type this, Buialsky makes it 2-0 to Kiev. No matter, a goal would mean extra-time and penalties!

Watching Sevilla - Gladbach. It's been quite good, but looks a tough task for the German side to progress. Very impressed by this Polish Krychowiak lad for Sevilla.

Besiktas just got the equalizer against Liverpool. 1-1 and heading into extra time.

England's UEFA coefficient is taking some hammering this week.

This could be the week that Tottenham's season unfolds, if they lose here, they still have to travel to Florence in mid-week before coming back for the league cup final against a Chelsea side who have rested for a full week.

Hardly seems fair, you'd think the league cup scheduling would have considered the Europa League, no?

It's going to be an Arsenal-esque type capitulation week for Spurs. I feel kind of bad for them.

You shouldn't. They've still got all the DVDs of the times Arsenal capitulated + a few historic draws. I bet they're still out celebrating that Berbatov goal and forgot the football was on tonight.

Finished 3-1 to Kiev. Bit of off the pitch rumble. Guingamp just weren't good enough (their goal was offside).

Yes its always entertaining when Young Boys are in town. They shared 12 goals with Liverpool a few years back and 9 goals with spurs and now 9 with Liverpool. 30 goals in 6 games v English opposition with another 45 to go!

Loving the Europa League this season, bye bye Spurs and Liverpool.

Fey v Roma been a tight one so far. Game just been held up for a couple of mins after an inflatable banana made it onto the pitch, possibly aimed towards Gervinho.

Both teams can't defend which has aided in the spectacle. Bizarre half because Everton looked clueless until the penalty.

Since that I thought they've looked pretty good going forward though.

Yeah, harsh red although the ball was pretty long gone so if he thinks its intentional then its understandable.

Pleased to get through to the next round. Was quite easy over the two legs but could have been different as Young Boys nearly went 2-0 up tonight. Not sure who I want in the next round, someone like Club Brugge for a chance of progression but then someone like Inter or Ajax for an amazing trip.
