We've sold out allocation and managed to get some of Yate's as well. No segregation, apparently they're a bit worried about there being trouble.

We should get battered by *sigh* Harrogate, but it would be a far more Wrexham thing to do to beat them and then go and lose the Aldershot replay on Tuesday

One of 5 thousand County fans going up to Bolton on Sunday.

Take a replay all day.

Massive, massive pressure on Challinor already. He's already made one of those tinfoil cups which he has been holding aloft in his new office today. Getting his wife to sing Abide with me whilst he gets fitted into a suit. He's confident, I'll give him that.

Is it?

We have one fit / not suspended CB, injuries right through midfield and upfront.

We will likely play a really weakened side for this with players out of position:

Minter
King Kellerman Kerr Whittle Miller
Oyeleke McCourt
Mandeville
Tyson Payne

Southend are the team to back at the prices.

Absolutely not. I know we've been getting some stick for pointing it out a lot but we've been done over by injuries big time.

We'll have 1 recognised centre back available on Saturday, seeing as we play with a back three that means we are obviously pretty screwed. I guess Rowe could try and change the formation but it's not really ideal to go against what's been working for us and even then someone is still playing out of position.

Tshimanga won't start, no point in risking him at all so that'll mean a strike force of Payne who doesn't score and Tyson who is 57-years-old.

Don't be swayed by the game at your place a few weeks ago, it'll be a totally different team plus we have a pretty horrid record in the cup anyway. You've definitely got a reasonable chance of turning us over.....which will be fine, we just need to avoid a replay at all costs, we really, really do not need an extra game right now!

Despite having no game midweek either before or after our trip to Rochdale, we are still in the middle of a tough run, so wouldn’t be surprised if a few current fringe players get a run out (Mitchell, Roberts, Nemane, Francis, Chicksen). Maybe a return for Alex Lacey, or Ciaran Brennan, who I believe is still on loan from Sheff Weds but hasn’t made the matchday squad for a while. Would like to see the likes of Cameron, Wootton, Palmer and Rodrigues rested to be honest - they’re too important to us in the league.

Fancy a 0-1 win.

I swear your injured squad was injured enough when you demolished us 4-0 3 weeks ago?

Be nice if we can play on the front foot against whatever line-up you guys put out. Hopefully Murphy can go on a scoring run now.

Yeah that injured squad is now even more injured, and anyone who is recently back / any slight doubts about won’t be risked. I’m genuinely intrigued to see who JR is actually going to play:pond:

We've got a very good record against Chesterfield in the FA Cup but even against their youths/half crocks I can't see us getting anything.
I'm off to Ipswich v Oldham and will keep my fingers crossed we can pull off a shock.

Who of the current injured players is likely to be fully match fit by the time of our game on Dec 4 ODL?

There's absolutely no way I'd bet against us here, it's exactly the sort of game where we could put a performance in. If we had Mullin I'd actually back us for the win, but I could see us drawing there. Late equaliser from Harrogate from a corner.

Was way more confident of a win when the draw was made. We've lost two since then and Kiddy have picked up. £30 return on the train is tempting me, not gonna lie.

We've been handed a very winnable tie at home to Maidenhead. I hear many teams have suffered a Devonshire down the years including us on the opening day. We've come a long way since then though. I'm expecting a tight game but ultimately I think we will get the job done and get into the 2nd round draw

That's what everyone says directly before a good old Devonshiring.

I don't know anything about them other than they're Step 7. Have they sold many tickets?

Come at a fantastic time this really, a chance to take a break from the league, get some players back.

Won’t be easy but hopefully we’ll have enough to get ourselves into the hat for the next round

No idea how many they've sold, there's probably more Southend fans going to your game than the Chesterfield game.
Bowers are incredibly excited about it all, special shirt to be worn, scarfs and all that.

Looking forward to Saturday, wasn't happy at all with the draw at first as we were out if form but 9 goals at home in our last games has given me a bit more confidence.

I've seen Grimsby have sold 820 tickets so far. Can't remember the last time the away end would've been that full at Aggborough. Might have been the last time we played Grimsby honestly.

Yate confirmed their overall capacity of 1600 tickets has been sold including our 350 away tickets. We'll have wangled some of the home ones as well, there's no segregation anyway. They average about 200 so it's a big game for them.

We've lost about 4/5 more since then.

The main thing is we play with 3 CHs and only have 1 available, meaning out back 3 with either be kids or midfielders/fullbacks out of position.

I saw you were 4/1 and that's some value given we will play the keeper from the car park off Soccer AM in net, and a 40 year old upfront alongside our non existent defence.

Never know anything like the volume of injures we've had at any club, let alone my own.

From what I can see we will still be missing - Hollis, Maguire, Carline, Denton

We might have Clarke, Asante, Weston, Gunning back.

If Rowe's 'injury' is what i've been told it is then he might not feature for a while, but absolutely no idea of the ramifications of it as it's a obscure one.

Can't actually think off top of my head who else we are missing but there's 1 or 2 more.
