I'd choose our tie for TV tbh. Bolton will bring a few and will be a healthy home crowd. It did have a local derby feel yesterday. Solihull- Wigan has the same potential in terms of upset and general game but anyone doing their research will realise Solihull will still have fuck all there and not many Wigan will be arsed going down there especially if it's on TV.

If they show Plymouth vs Sheffield Wednesday again, I'd despiar. Does anybody want to watch that? Did anybody watch the first match bar fans of the two teams involved?
Yep, absolutely. Wigan fans are absolutely crap. Wouldn't be surprised if they only took a double digit following to that (like they did with Spurs away in the Prem once...on a Saturday). Would much rather watch Stockport beat Bolton at EP as Bolton will take a fair few.

For most of our fans, this is how it works: All players are "dross", the moment they are announced coming in, the manager doesn't know what he's doing, when is the chairman going to open his wallet. If they prove to be any good they'll be dismissed as a "one trick pony", unless they're REALLY good- like Vardy-when they'll be "Legends" after 10 games. When they leave, however they turned out, they'll be shit again.

Yeah, most of our fans are simple minded bastards. :ds:
If your lot think Pete Wild doesnt have a clue then please send him to us we will look after him, ThankYou.

Oh did Vardy play for Halifax? Don't believe you've mentioned that before.

He’s been posting on various Chesterfield forums asking for fan footage of the incident to support an appeal.

Weird really so they must be desperate. He’s got a ST at Chesterfield too which makes it all the more strange
That is quite weird but I would certainly classify us as desperate. We need him for every game possible.

You come across as quite bitter about it, harping on about his bookings all the time. He’s been one of our best players. 5 bookings, 4 assists and a goal. Great RWB at this level.
I've seen him play I know how good he can be. I also know how much he picks up yellow cards. Just stating the facts as given and as seen.

The fact remains that it hasn't held us back though.

Probably get drawn against each other in the fa cup tonight now

I always think it’s a poor look when a players relative is so active across social media, forums etc…

Just screams of desperation to have some of the limelight and attention, and let’s face it 9 times out of 10 it ends up pretty sour when they react poorly to something negative that someone inevitably says. Brunt’s dad has been popping up fucking everywhere recently, embarrassing that he went on Southend’s forum to explain the sending off??? Just leave it, it’s professional football ffs these things happen.

We have appealed the sending off today, so it will all come out in the wash, so to speak.

The state of this Daggers-Salford game. 25 away fans and the atmosphere of an u-15s hockey game.

Also, the Dagenham owner looks like someone’s photoshopped Peter Shilton and put a 90s style dye job on him.

Very good going forwards but his discipline and defending let’s him down. Couldn’t see him playing as a flat right back. But as you say, a good RWB for this level.

Dagenham will be kicking themselves if they go out here, been comfortably the better team. Salford look really bad.

They’ve been pretty decent, we had them in the 2nd round last season and won with literally the last kick of the game in extra time.

That said the quality of league 2 is absolutely dire this season, something i can attest to

I’d take you guys at home. Or Buxton/St Albans. Wouldn’t want any of you away though. Pretty much any non league side at home I’d be happy with in all honesty.

I think we should both be happy with that. You guys have the advantage of being at home but this is now a huge chance for both teams

Home to Wednesday or Plymouth if we get through. Either would likely beat us comfortably, but Wednesday would be a massive crowd and earn us a fair sum.

I'm happy. I'd have taken any non league team at home so can't complain.

Salford away. If tonight is anything to go by then absolutely nothing to worry about.

Imagine Buxton will get a TV game, hopefully they do Morecambe, always has an irrational dislike of them.

Yep. Very much a banana skin tie for us. You guys must be happy with that? Saying that it's a very winnable tie for both teams. Neither can complain about that imo.

Buxton v Morecambe is a classic NPL fixture from the 80's and early 90's. It should never be considered as suitable for TV, but unfortunately it will.

I think Alty / Gateshead v Charlton will be another one for TV coverage.
